Melisande Lort is a Breton who can be encountered around Apocrypha. She will be looking for Hermaeus Mora but keeps mistaking various Watchers for him.

You will hear her say the following as you approach, as she is getting close to a watcher. There are a number of versions of the encounter:
Encounter which she runs away:
- Melisande Lort: "Hey! Mortal! Is that what you are? Doesn't matter. Come here. Quickly!"
- Melisande Lort: "Look! It's Herma … Hermorah … Mora … it's really him this time. I'm sure!"
- Melisande Lort: "I was wrong last time. And the other time. But not this one. Watch."
- <Melisande approaches the watcher.>
- Melisande Lort: "Oh mighty Prince! All-knowing knower of knowledge! I am your humble servant!"
- <The watcher knocks her back.>
- Melisande Lort: "Ahh!"
- Melisande Lort: "Must've been something you said to him, mortal."
The watcher becomes hostile and you will need to fight it off. Once this is done, Melisande will be shocked:
- Melisande Lort: "What did you do? He's gone. Gone!"
- Melisande Lort: "No. He can't be—not from something so weak. He must have gone … somewhere else."
- Melisande Lort: "I must find him again! But not you, mortal. You stay far away."
- Melisande Lort: "I'll go this way. Or was it that way?"
- <Melisande runs off.>
Encounter which the Watcher multiplies:
- Melisande Lort: "You there! Are you really there? If you are, you'll want to see this. I'm sure it's there."
- Melisande Lort: "They told me I was crazy. Mad. But look! I found the Prince of Knowledge."
- Melisande Lort: "I was wrong last time. And the other time. But not this one. Watch."
- <Melisande approaches the watcher.>
- Melisande Lort: "Oh mighty Prince! All-knowing knower of knowledge! I am your humble servant!"
- <The watcher makes copies of itself>
- Melisande Lort: "Th-three Hermaeus Moras?"
- <Melisande faints and you will fight the watcher.>
