Retrieve the witch matron's notes
A defector from a local Reach clan informed the Ard's Stonehands that his clan's witch matron is attempting a dangerous ritual. I agreed to investigate and put a stop to the ritual, as well as search for any of the witch matron's notes.

Quick WalkthroughEdit

  1. Stop the ritual.
  2. Collect the Witch Matron's Ritual Notes at Four Skull Lookout.
  3. Talk to Gwenyfe in Markarth.

Detailed WalkthroughEdit

A witch has been causing trouble up at Four Skull Lookout. She's been keeping notes on her profane rituals, and the Stonehands have asked you to retrieve them so they may properly dispose of this information. Head on up to Four Skull Lookout, which is located north of Rebel's Retreat. The Witch Matron's Ritual Notes are located on tables (and the ground) around the ritual site. Destroy Voidmother Elgroalif, collect her notes, and return to Gwenyfe in Markarth to receive payment for your work.

* Any text displayed in angle brackets (e.g., <Alias=LocationHold>) is dynamically set by the game and will be filled in with the appropriate word(s) when seen in game.
  • Not all Journal Entries may appear in your journal; which entries appear and which entries do not depends on the manner in which the quest is done.
  • Stages are not always in order of progress. This is usually the case with quests that have multiple possible outcomes or quests where certain tasks may be done in any order. Some stages may therefore repeat objectives seen in other stages.
