Quest-Related EventsEdit

The first time you approach him, you may hear him exclaiming:

"Mmmmm… It's such a good idea … I just need a little bit of assistance …."

If you speak to him directly to start the quest, he will alternatively say:

"Greetings, traveler! Welcome to High Isle, the hidden gem of the Systres Archipelago!
It's a shame more people from the mainland don't visit our beautiful islands. Fortunately, I have a plan to address that!"

Otherwise, if you choose start the quest through the Crown Store or by reading his notice:

"Welcome to High Isle, traveler—the hidden gem of the Systres Archipelago! You must be here about my notice.
I'm working on a plan to bring more visitors to our beautiful islands. And it's a very good plan, if I do say so myself!"

What sort of plan?

"I'll sell tours of the islands to wealthy visitors. Wine them, dine them, and show them the sights. They'll tell their friends all about us when they return home!
With an enterprise such as this, we'll soon be rolling in gold!"

How are you going to attract wealthy visitors?

"By advertising, of course! I'm drafting a pamphlet describing the tours of the isles. Publish it in cities across Tamriel to attract visitors.
What I need at the moment is someone to test my suggested itinerary. Interested? I'll pay for your time."

I'll take your tour of the Systres Archipelago.

"To help me evaluate my suggested itinerary, I'd like you to sample some local cuisine here in the Gaming Hall.
Then, visit fishing holes and scenic spots around High Isle and Amenos. I'll mark locations on your map. We'll add the best to the tour."

You really think people will travel from the mainland just for food?

"Mainlanders rave about our local cuisine! Some of the finest seafood in the world swims in the waters around the archipelago. Try the dishes I've had prepared here in the hall.
I look forward to your opinion, as seafood makes me terribly ill."

Tell me about the fishing holes and scenic spots you marked on my map.

"Some of the most beloved places on our islands include secluded fishing holes and scenic vistas. The problem is that visitors currently must find such locations on their own, or hire expensive and often dubious guides to reach them."

So what exactly do you need me to do?

"Visit and survey the sites. Make sure they're safe. We wouldn't want to take our guests into danger!
You'll find some sites here on High Isle, and others on Amenos. There's a boat that can take you there when you're ready to go to the prison island."

Why go to the trouble of setting up tours? Don't mainlanders already come to High Isle?

"They do … but we're not really widely known outside of a few noble and merchant circles. And many visitors never even leave the comforts of Gonfalon Bay.
I want to share the beauty of the entire archipelago with my guests and reap in the profits!"

So this is just about making a profit?

"That's part of it. But I really do want to show our guests everything our islands have to offer. And I want to build something of my own. A business beyond what the Visour family already stands for.
And with your help, my tours will be magnificent!"

After sampling the delicacies, you can speak to him again:

"If you're brave enough to sample those delicacies, you'll have no problem scouting the locations I came up with for you. I've only visited a couple of the nearby ones in person.
The sites over on Amenos are a little too…exciting."

After visiting the scenic viewpoints and fishing holes, you return to him to report your surveys:

"Ah…my dauntless assistant returns! You look like you've been from one end of archipelago to the other…which is pretty much true, I suppose.
So, tell me, what did you think of the local cuisine? Which dishes did you sample?"

I tried the Gonfalon seafood gumbo, the ornaug filet, and the fish biscuits.

"And? As I said, seafood makes me ill, so I haven't been able to taste any of the dishes myself.
Were they good? Did you like any of them in particular? Please, tell me your thoughts."

Honestly, I thought they were all bad.

"That's…disappointing. Still, better to know that now than find out when my customers complain about the quality of our supposedly excellent cuisine. I'll need to find a better chef. I know we have good food on the islands.
What about the sites?"

No need. I'd recommend the ornaug filet, but I wouldn't include the other dishes in your tours.

"I suspected you'd like that dish. It's a local favorite! As for the others, I was hoping to include them. Ah, well. I'll find something better to replace them with.
What about the fishing holes and scenic viewpoints? Are they all safe for tourists?"

I enjoyed all three dishes. They'll all make excellent additions to your tours.

"Even the fish bisquits? That's excellent news! You don't know how much I appreciate you trying them for me. Even a bite of any of those dishes would make me ill for a week!
Now, what did you think about the fishing holes and scenic viewpoints."

When he asks about the tour spots:

Some of them seemed pretty dangerous.

"That's unfortunate. I know Amenos is dangerous, of course, but I hoped the sites were safe. Still, wouldn't want to lose any paying customers. Incidents like that can positively ruin a business.
Here. Mark the sites we shouldn't include on this map."

These sites aren't safe.

"My friend, your help has been invaluable! I'll update my pamphlets to include only the best food and locations to visit. And feel free to tell everyone you meet—the best tours of the archipelago are Visour's tours!
Take this, with my gratitude!"

If you exit out of the conversation before completing the quest, he will alternatively say:

"You know, I'm quite optimistic about our prospects! Your thoughts on our local delicacies and the best spots to visit around the islands should draw tourists from all across the mainland."

Do you have everything you need to finish you pamphlets now? (leads to quest completion dialogue)

After quest:

"Mark my words, my new pamphlet will draw in visitors from all over Tamriel. Nobles and wealthy merchants alike will come to take in the beauty of the Systres Archipelago!
I'll make sure your contribution is not forgotten, of course."
