Roothaag is a merchant who can be found in the main grounds of the Everlasting Fair. While his appearance is that of a Dagi-raht, he claims that he is in fact an Orc.

Quest-Related EventsEdit
After speaking with Sergeant Alydine, you learn that several members of her squad became trapped in the Everlasting Fair and are unable to leave. She suggests you search for their Alfiq scout Sashii at the fair.
You can mingle with the attendees, among them is Roothaag who is standing on a box. Speak with him to ask about Sashii:
- "Step right up and see what the fair has to offer! Don't be intimidated by my looks, I'm here to help!"
- Why should I be intimidated by your appearance?
- "Isn't it obvious? Most people are intimidated when they see a strong, prime Orc specimen like me.
Oh wait. I see. You're under some kind of enchantment. Don't worry, I'm sure it'll wear off soon." - You appear to be a Dagi-raht, though you do sound like an Orc.
- "What?! How can that be?
Oh. That cursed Lady of Riot! She confused me, told me she would make me irresistibly attractive. Or something like that. I swear, I'm the biggest, strongest Orc you'll ever meet!" - I'll take your word for it. Have you seen an Alfiq around here?
- "It's possible. But I wouldn't be able to tell. Nothing is as it seems here. Get it?
For example, I'm a handsome Orc warrior, but you couldn't tell. This Alfiq could look like anything or anyone now."
After you finish talking to him, Roothaag will make a vow:
- Roothaag: "If I see the Lady, I'll make her pay for this! Once I'm an Orc again, that is."
Once you have restored the Fair to its true owner, Roothaag will happy:this dialogue should appear, but I couldn't find Roothaag
- "Ah, that's more like it! Told you I was as tough as Orcs come. Too bad I missed the end, though. I would've like to give that lady a piece of my mind."
NotesEdit
- Roothaag wears a recolored Budi-Shirt and Galligaskins.
- Roothaag will have left the fair once the quest is completed and you return to the location.
