Spiral Descenders are spectral red Scorions found within Sanity's Edge. They act as mini bosses within the trial, and you will have to face two of them: one before reaching Exarchanic Yaseyla, and another before the battle with Archwizard Twelvane. The Spiral Descenders do not have a fixed spawn location, and can appear at any time as you progress through the first few sections of the trial.
They can summon Spiral Shalks in battle.
