The Heart of Valenwood, restored

The shade of Prince Naemon is using the Staff of Magnus to corrupt the Heart of Valenwood. Any soldiers the Dominion sends into Hectahame will turn feral. However, Indaenir believes you and he can enter Hectahame through the Shadow Wood, embracing the feral nature of Green.

Once across the bridge, activate the pedestals to enter the Heart of Valenwood. To do so, you must retrieve three keystones. They look like dark crystals. As soon as all three keystones are in place, you and Indaenir can enter.

You and Indaenir fight the Shade of Naemon and take the Staff of Magnus. However, the Heart of Valenwood is still corrupted. Indaenir decides to draw the corruption into himself, sacrificing himself for the Valenwood.

Cariel and Mane Akkhuz-ri arrive too late to stop Indaenir, but as he talks with you, Indaenir's body is surrounded by leaves and a green light. He is alive, and Cariel kneels before him, calling him the Silvenar. He accepts his new role, and you tell the Queen what happened in Hectahame.

NotesEdit

* Any text displayed in angle brackets (e.g., <Alias=LocationHold>) is dynamically set by the game and will be filled in with the appropriate word(s) when seen in game.
  • Not all Journal Entries may appear in your journal; which entries appear and which entries do not depends on the manner in which the quest is done.
  • Stages are not always in order of progress. This is usually the case with quests that have multiple possible outcomes or quests where certain tasks may be done in any order. Some stages may therefore repeat objectives seen in other stages.
