Refugee
Location Dragonstar West, Dragonstar East
Race Varies Gender Varies

Refugees are people found in Dragonstar West and Dragonstar East. Each one has a request for you, some want bread, healing balms, or gold, and others simply want to talk. Helping a refugee will reward you with XP.

DialogueEdit

Healing balm refugeesEdit

"One of our number has been struck blind. Dare we hope you could give us a balm to cure his blindness?"
Sorry, no.
Here is one.
(The citizen is grateful for your help. You earn 1000 experience.)

If you don't have one but offered to give one:

"Ah, I see you don't have a balm. Perhaps there is a merchant that sells some?"

If spoken to after giving the balm:

"Thank you so much for the balm! He's feeling much better."

Gold refugeesEdit

"Please, can you spare some coin?"
Sorry, no.
Here is 25 gold.
(The citizen thanks you for your generosity. You earn 100 experience.)
Here is 100 gold.
(Relief, joy and disbelief accompany your generous gift. You earn 425 experience.)

If you offer gold but have none:

"Oh, I see you don't have any money right now. Thanks anyway."

If spoken to after giving money:

"We are extremely grateful for your generosity. Thank you."

Bread refugeesEdit

"There are hungry, hungry times in Dragonstar. Could you be so kind as to spare some bread?"
Sorry, no.
Here is some bread.
(The bread has barely left your hands before it is devoured. You earn 300 experience.)

If you offer bread but don't have any:

"Ah, I see you don't have any bread. Perhaps you could afford to buy some?"

Refugees who want to just talkEdit

"Would you mind terribly if we just talked for a few minutes? I know it's a strange request from a stranger, but..."
No, I have a war to fight.
Sure, I have some time.
(You talk about the weather, your family, and a bit about your adventures.
The only flat note was your skeleton–in–a–bar story, which didn't go over any better than the last time you told it.
For taking time out of the war to help another, you earn 300 experience.)

If spoken to again:

"Thank you for taking the time to talk with me."
You're welcome.
