The realm is inhabited by Daedra called Seekers and Lurkers. Tentacles constantly breach the acidic dark waters and sometimes whip at you, causing a significant amount of damage if they manage to hit you. The acidic waters with the tentacles are also corrosive and cause damage if stepped in.
The Winds of ChangeEdit
The Winds of Change opens on a dim platform, with a bridge over the murky water ahead. Beyond the bridge and up two sets of stairs is a room with five pedestals guarded by a seeker. Starting with the pedestal nearest the stairs and moving clockwise, the pedestals hold a random book and a random soul gem on the first, nothing of interest on the second, two random books on the third, a random book and a copy of the Spell Tome: Conjure Seeker (only if your Conjuration skill is at least level 40) on the fourth, and a random soul gem on the fifth.
To the east and northeast, two fonts of stamina flank a scrye that opens the nearby gate. Beyond the gate is a table to the left with two soul gems (one random and one leveled), followed by a font of magicka and a pod to the left. Southwest of the pod is a table with a leveled soul gem, a font of stamina, and a scrye that opens another nearby gate. Beyond the gate is a corridor guarded by a seeker. Along the corridor are two fonts of magicka, with another scrye that opens the gate at the end of the corridor.
Beyond the gate is a large room with a central pool from which a lurker rises to attack. East of the pool is a font of magicka next to a ramp that ascends to a small platform with a scrye and two pedestals flanking a table. The pedestal on the left holds two scrolls of frenzy and a black soul gem, the pedestal on the right holds two scrolls of fear, and the table holds two black soul gems and a copy of the Two-handed skill book Words and Philosophy. The scrye opens the gate on the other side of the room. West of the pool is a font of magicka and another scrye, which extends the stairs up to the gate. Beyond the gate is a vessel and the black book The Winds of Change. To exit this part of Apocrypha, use the non-circular part of the black book.
