When you first approach him:
- I'm here for the fishing contest. Are you ready to begin?
- "Yeah."
- You're Brutius? I expected someone younger. You're just a feeble old man.
- "I don't have to take that from you!"
- Shall we make a wager, then?
- "How much?"

- 500 gold.
- 1000 gold!
- Where shall we hold the contest?
- "Here's where you need to go."
When you meet at the specified location, he will attack you with his fellow accomplices.
BugsEdit
- If you travel to Morthal during this quest causing Brutius to spawn, fail to talk to him, then visit your player home, when you return to town Brutius may have wandered away over the mountains past Labyrinthian toward Whiterun. A trigger box is not configured to be player-only activated, passing NPCs and animals may accidentally advance quest stages, so Brutius's travel packages stop working. ?
- There may be two copies of Brutius' Journal in his inventory. Taking both of them will break the quest.How? ?
