Jail is no mere time-out! Face real consequences and make your time behind bars matter.—Official Summary

Classic Jail Experience: A Hardcore Take on ImprisonmentEdit

This Creation brings a fresh level of consequence to your time behind bars, drawing inspiration from previous Elder Scrolls games.

FeaturesEdit

Serving a sentence now carries real risks - extended isolation may cause skill deterioration, reflecting the hardships of imprisonment, and you might even catch a disease in the cold cells of Skyrim. However, not all hope is lost. A fellow prisoner might occasionally share their wisdom, granting you a small skill boost despite the grim conditions.

Perks tied to affected skills may be lost, but fear not - you'll receive refunded perk points, allowing you to regain them once you meet the requirements again.

InstallationEdit

Upon launching the game with this Creation enabled, you will have the option to:

Keep it disabled.

Enable it only if Survival Mode is active (it will automatically deactivate if Survival is turned off).

Always enable the Creation, regardless of Survival Mode status.

You can also read "Of Crimes and Punishment", a book added to your inventory, to change the Creation's status (enabled/disabled/survival only). This book can be dropped or stored wherever you want without further cluttering your inventory.

With immersive messages and meaningful consequences, this mod makes your time in jail more challenging, immersive, and—on rare occasions—a chance for personal growth.

CompatibilityEdit

This Creation is packaged as an ESL file, making it load-order neutral.

It can be installed or uninstalled at any time without issues.
