Quick WalkthroughEdit

1. Speak to Donus Verelnim at the Othmura temple about a letter for Palosenya (requires 50+ disposition).
   • Either:
     1. Convince Furen Hlavel to give you his key (requires 70+ disposition).
     2. Retrieve the Letter to Palosenya from the chest.
        • Either return the letter to Furen (rewards Scroll of Heartwise).
        • Or bring the letter to Palosenya (rewards 50 gold).
   • Or:
     1. Steal the letter.
        • (Optionally) Return the letter to Furen (no reward, ends quest).
     2. Bring the letter to Palosenya at her market stall in town (rewards 50 gold).

Detailed WalkthroughEdit

A troubled monk named Donus Verelnim stands within the Othmura temple. He needs to like you a little (50+ disposition) to open up about what troubles him. It transpires that a letter for Palosenya arrived at the temple, but was intercepted by the head priest, Furen Hlavel, before reaching the intended recipient. Furen both read the letter and then hid it away. Donus wants you to help resolve this situation.

You have two approaches. The first is to steal the letter from the locked chest in one of the basement bedrooms, and then take it to Palosenya at her stall in town. This rewards 50 gold. The second approach is to convince Furen Hlavel to relent. You'll need 70+ disposition with him to achieve this, and even then, he'll only consent to give you the key to the chest while asking that you reconsider delivering this message to his new convert.

Once you have retrieved the letter with Furen's permission, you can either speak to him to give it back for the reward of a Scroll of Heartwise, or else deliver it to Pasenya as her brother had hoped - receiving 50 gold for your trouble.
