Ald Erfoud is a complex of ruins from Arvud's Redoran past.
It can be accessed via a trapdoor in the basement of Arvud's Uvayn Manor, or through the nearby cave of Nan-Iban (to the northeast of Arvud's silt strider). A vault at the northern end of the ruin contains an array of ebony items, including an Ebony Shield and Ebony Halberd. An Orcish Open Helm is also present here.
The settlement is referenced in 2920, First Seed, indicating that it existed in the 1st era during the time of Reman III. Its last ruler appears to have been Firolen Ervanys, who is still resident in spectral form. Firolen was known in his time for his unswerving hatred of vampires. He has in his possession the ashes of a fallen ancient of the Baluath vampire clan, making the location a target in that clan's questline.
