Quick WalkthroughEdit
- Speak to Ethalvora in Andothren's Guild of Mages about a rare crystal.
- Journey to Uman and speak with Derana Galvith.
- Travel to the lost ruin of Anashbibi (place).
- Kill Ishil-Mahon, and take the ice crystal it carries.
- Return the ice crystal to Ethalvora.
Detailed WalkthroughEdit
Ethalvora has received recent news of the uncovering of the fabled ruin of Anashbibi, and believes it to hold a rare crystal that she needs for her work. She will send you to Uman to check in with a local scout, Derana Galvith, for more precise directions. Before you go anywhere however, you may wish to prepare for combat with the powerful daedra she describes.
Uman is far to the west of Andothren, in the Velothi Mountains, and will appear on your map after Ethalvora has briefed you. There's no silt strider to it, but you can get most of the way by taking the one from Andothren to Omaynis, and then to Bodrum. Even with the silt striders however, it makes for a long walk to this little Redoran hamlet.
Derana Galvith can be found in her house in Uman. Ask her about the rare crystal, and she will have the following directions available for you.
"If you seek Anashbibi, first go to Hendor-Stardumz, to the south. If you follow the road, you will find yourself in a valley at the base of the ruin's great bridges. Make your way to the top of the valley -- you can levitate, can't you? -- and then travel uphill through the forest, northwest. Follow the land around until you come across a frozen lake. It's formed by runoff from the glacier which receded from Anashbibi: follow it upstream and you will find the entrance. I hope you've oiled your boots."
Following the directions should soon see you arrive at ice-encrusted Anashbibi. Expect cultist and daedra presence. Your target is the ice crystal held by (or perhaps in) the powerful frost atronach, Ishil-Mahon, who resides within the ruin's shrine. Once this has been recovered, return to Ethalvora for your reward.
