Marsh Root Incense is a unique kind of incense that can be found in the Crossing of Lamps in Roa Dyr. One sample can be found in Diranya's room on the second floor, and another sample can be found in one of the cisterns in the vault past the forcefield on the third floor.
If you are a vampire and have a sample of Marsh Root Incense in your inventory, you can bypass the forcefield on the third floor and gain access to the considerable treasures within the vault. Maniel Sylbenitte at the Old Ebonheart Mages Guild will ask you to bring him one of the Scrolls of Paralyzing Domination for him.
