Naalsa Uvayn is a Dark Elf Noble and the daughter of Arvud's governor, Balvene Uvayn. She is the softer spoken of the two daughters, being far more genteel than her warrior sister, Felara Uvayn. She is believed to be the object of Vendel Othreleth's desire during The Visitor Known as Vendel Othreleth - until it transpires that the mer is actually after her elderly mother. She later confesses that "I do find this situation a little awkward."
As with her sister, Felara, Naalsa mourns her missing father, Olmas Uvayn, but is far more pessimistic about the chances of his survival:
"My father died in the Armun Ashlands two years ago. That wound has only now begun to heal. I would rather not talk about this anymore."
