Quick WalkthroughEdit

1. Speak to Falora Daren in Almas Thirr's Temple about a delicate situation and a prized glass sword.
2. (Optional) Report the matter to Tovas Lythandas in the Office of the Watch (Upper Waistworks) for 50 gold, then return to Falora (ends quest).
3. Go to the Hostel of the Crossing in the city's northeast.
4. Talk to Sedyni Vatronius and convince her to reveal what she knows with either:
   • 50+ disposition.
   • Initiate or higher rank in the Tribunal Temple.
5. Question Samsi Adranibaal at her pawnbroker store on the city's west side with 40+ disposition.
6. Travel to Hlaalu Ferry and find Lazare Pajaud and Brelan Drethos behind the tradehouse.
7. Speak to Brelan and either:
   • Threaten and kill him.
   • Offer to outbid Lazare, then either:
     • Pay Brelan the price you bid.
     • Agree to Lazare's offer.
       • Speak to Lazare after you've bought the sword for a choice of items.
8. Bring the sword to Falora (rewards Armiger's Rest).

NotesEdit

• You can skip the Hostel of the Crossing section by going straight to Samsi and questioning her with 80+ disposition.
• Lazare will always outbid you by 500 gold, but will only do so twice. Therefore, if you only bid 250 gold each time, the final price will be 2250 gold (Falora will cover your expenses either way).

10		Falora Daren, a Buoyant Armiger visiting the Temple of Almas Thirr, asked me for help with a delicate matter. During her visit, she has lost her prized glass sword, and she believes it might have been stolen by one of the other pilgrims visiting the Hostel of the Crossing where she spent the first night in the city. Falora also warned me that under no circumstances I'm allowed to divulge her troubles to her Ordinator rivals.
20		I learned that Falora Daren's prized glass sword might have been stolen by a man named Brelan Drethos, who was staying at the Hostel of the Crossing the day the sword vanished. Sedyni Vatronius, one of the other pilgrims, suggested he might have tried to sell the sword to the local pawnbroker Samsi Adranibaal.
30		Samsi Adranibaal, the Almas Thirr pawnbroker, vehemently denied that she bought Falora Daren's prized glass sword from Brelan Drethos. However, she also admitted that she has recommended Brelan to try his luck at the Hlaalu Ferry, where the infamous smuggler Lazare Pajaud sets up shop often.
40		I found Falora Daren's prized glass sword in the hands of a thug Brelan Drethos. It seems that he intends to sell it to the highest bidder.
100	Finishes quest	Falora Daren rewarded me for finding her prized glass sword.
150	Finishes quest	Falora Daren is dead.
200	Finishes quest	The Ordinators got Falora Daren her prized glass sword back. To say that she was upset would be an understatement, though.

10		Lazare Pajaud offered Brelan Drethos 500 gold for the prized glass sword.
15		It seems that Brelan Drethos has no clue what a Buoyant Armiger is. It doesn't seem likely that he can simply be intimidated to give the prized glass sword back.
20		I engaged in a bidding war for Falora Daren's prized glass sword with the Breton smuggler Lazare Pajaud.
100		I bought Falora Daren's prized glass sword from Brelan Drethos.

10		Lazare Pajaud, the smuggler interested in Falora Daren's prized glass sword, has offered me a deal. He's willing to let the blade go and even offer me some other weapons as a bonus, but only under the condition that I'll let the thief Brelan Drethos live.
100		Lazare Pajaud seemed to be satisfied with my handling of the situation and gave me a reward. In addition, he expressed interest in buying other exotic weapons I will find on my travels.

100		Despite Falora Daren's wishes, I told Tovas Lythandas, the commander of the Order of the Watch in Almas Thirr, about her stolen prized glass sword. He has assured me that his men will find the thief with haste.
