Salt-Mane Dro'Qosha is a Khajiit slave at the Oran Plantation, and has been a slave there for "countless moons". Once he was a diplomat resolving tribal disputes in Elsweyr, until the warchief Blood-Maw Morhooq sold Dro'Qosha into slavery.
"Dro'Qosha was a peacebroker, a diplomat sanctioned by the Mane. Dro'Qosha would walk among the warring tribes of Elsweyr and talk sense to them. Among the paint-visaged Ohmes, the spellcasting Dagi and even the fierce battlecats of the Senche-raht he'd walk, and wherever Dro'Qosha went the tribal leaders would hear his wise words, let their sharpened war-claws go dull again and make peace with one another. This was until Dro'Qosha's own kind betrayed him. An ungrateful warchief, a scumcat known as Blood-Maw Morhrooq, believed that a senseless war served him better than peace. He captured Dro'Qosha and sent him on a slavers' ship far away to Morrowind. And thus did Dro'Qosha's years of shackled servitude begin."
Highly observant, he will remark upon the various quests associated with the plantation, and will even (correctly) guess your part in the death of the cruel foreman, Dels Ravyn, if you choose to kill him. Unlike the other slaves of the plantation however, he will refuse to leave if freed.
"Go back to Elsweyr? Oh, no no no. Dro'Qosha will never return there. Keep your red sands and your sugary vendettas, you foolish war-kittens, if you think Dro'Qosha's wisdom is no good for you."
