Seras Indaren is a Dark Elf noble and a Lay Elder in Great House Indoril. He lives in his manor in Akamora, and openly proclaims himself to the "rightful lord of Akamora". This places him in opposition to Novas Senim, the current lord of the town, and tensions between the noble families have lately resulted in Akamora's lesser nobility choosing sides.
Seras is a proud individual with a hostile attitude to both outlanders and the Empire. He also has a vengeful streak. During No Sin Goes Unpunished for example, he commissions the Fighters Guild to murder one Olmu Llendu, a failed assassin who once tried to kill him, but who has since recanted and sworn herself to pacifism. Given that it is against the law to spill blood in Necrom, Olmu's refuge, the task is identified by Fighters Guild leader Laalalvo Irano to be a test of the Guild's ability to fulfill its orders without offending Dark Elf sensibilities.
