Varanit Suavyn is a Dark Elf agent and Lawman of House Telvanni who has got mixed up in a Morag Tong contract. His friend Ilen Midaan needs to be sheltered from his would-be killers and Suavyn's house is his chosen place of safety.
Suavyn seems to have been the supervisor at the now-abandoned Verdunasha-Beracavada Egg Mine, which was shut down due to financial issues.
He wears a netch leather cuirass, an expensive shirt, a pair of common pants, and a pair of common shoes. He wields an iron longsword.
Aside from his natural resistance to fire and the sanctuary provided by his ancestors, he knows no spells.
