A bit about me: I'm a retired programmer. I took my first class in BASIC in 1976 when I was in high school, at a local community college.

Games, and Elder Scrolls:
I've always loved games. Board games, card games, whatever. I got into "tabletop" RPGs in 1980, when I first heard of them - I was going to Michigan State University, and the whole thing about Dallas Egbert was huge national news. (And mostly false, as is now widely known. It wasn't at the time, but I knew people who had known him, though I never met him myself.)
I started playing Skyrim on an X-Box 360 (there's a much longer story there) in 2013. I played for a few months, until I broke my wrist. First time I'd ever broken a bone. That stops a gaming habit cold, though -- I couldn't use the controller.
I picked it up again when my husband bought me a gaming laptop, and discovered modding. I found that it was as much fun playing WITH the game, as playing the game. I even have one out on Nexus, though I didn't write it. It was one I used, so when its author suddenly left Skyrim modding and it had one very bad bug, I hoped someone who knew Papyrus would adopt and fix it. In the meantime, I decided to see if I could figure it out myself. I got it working better, so I decided to publish it for others to use also: Jaxon's Smart Looter, Continued. I never ported it to SE, as it required skse and SkyUI, neither of which had yet been ported when I started playing ESO. Someone else has, though it took five years for it to happen.

I also have an addon out for ESO: Event Tracker. It helps people not lose event tickets. I don't make anything off of either the mod or the addon; they're not even set up for donations. I just want to mention them, because I'd like people to be helped by them. I don't remember Skyrim modding well enough to claim to be able to help anyone with it; nor do I feel competent enough with Lua to help much with that. I really wish the documentation on ESO addons was better.
