User talk:Lucil Hellsing
Hello Lucil Hellsing! Cool name! Welcome to UESPWiki. It's always good to have new members. If you would like to help improve any of our pages, you may want to take a look at the following links:
- Policies and Guidelines: UESPWiki standards and expectations
- Quick Editing Guide: a quick guide to wiki markup
- Getting Started: how you can help
If you, on the other hand, would like to spice up your userpage, take a look at this link:
- Userboxes: near complete list of userboxes, including a guide to make your own
Of course you must first create a userpage.
When you're editing, it's good idea to leave edit summaries to explain the changes you have made to a particular page, and remember to sign your talk page posts with four tildes ~~~~. Also, the "show preview" button is a great way to view the changes you've made so far without actually saving the page (patrollers appreciate it because they have to patrol the edits).
Feel free to practice editing in the sandbox or create your own and don't hesitate to contact one of our mentors if you need any help. Have fun! --Rigas Papadopoulos • Talk to me • My work • 17:10, 23 October 2010 (UTC)
Regarding My GenderEdit
What is the correct sandbox for depicting I am female?Lucil Hellsing 18:43, 7 November 2010 (UTC)
- Hey there! I took the liberty and added the correct userbox to your page - hope it is okay. --Krusty 18:49, 7 November 2010 (UTC)
It's ok, Thanks. Lucil Hellsing 18:50, 7 November 2010 (UTC)
Jygalag and Dagoth UrEdit
Why are there no pictures for them? They are both naturally my favorites. Lucil Hellsing 19:00, 7 November 2010 (UTC)
- Hi, I just wanted to point out it's JyGGalag, as I've noticed you wrote it differently both here and on your userpage. Sorry if me being a spelling-nazi bugs you :) ~ Dwarfmp 18:31, 12 January 2011 (UTC)
New Messages but No Messages?Edit
I keep getting announcements that I have new messages I click it, I go to my talk page. And it's still the same. :| Lucil Hellsing 18:49, 8 January 2011 (UTC)
- That's Rigas Papuodoulous for you. He just added some links and a yellow box to his user page and talk page to make you think you have new messages, when it will always say that even if you don't have new messages. If you find it annoying, then ask them to remove it on their talk pages. --Pwnageincarnate 19:17, 8 January 2011 (UTC)Pwnageincarnate
This is....REALLY, REALLY annoying. I've had enough problems with Rigas for one day. Lucil Hellsing 19:21, 8 January 2011 (UTC)
And even if I confront him about it, he'll go all emotionless/clueless robot on me, and attempt to confuse me. :S Lucil Hellsing 19:23, 8 January 2011 (UTC)
Tes3Mod:Tamriel Rebuilt/Travel By My SideEdit
I noticed your edits to Tes3Mod:Tamriel Rebuilt/Travel By My Side. Did you actually check those books in-game to see if those question marks were not there? --Brf 19:24, 8 January 2011 (UTC)
Why would they be? And even if they were, they were obviously slips of the pen. We would be doing the Mod a favor, no? Lucil Hellsing 19:29, 8 January 2011 (UTC)
- No. We document exactly what the article says in-game, we add little tags to notify members of a typo but it still needs to be kept. --Arch-Mage Matt Did I Do That? 19:31, 8 January 2011 (UTC)
-
- Yes. The text in books is reported exactly the way it shows in the book -- typos and all. If you have not verified the errors as being in our copy of the book text, we will revert the edits. --Brf 19:34, 8 January 2011 (UTC)

- Yes, and principles sometimes need updates, no? Yes, it says that way in the book in the Game, but as I said earlier it was a slip of the pen, and I truly don't see a problem with it. This article would have been dead, lost, and widely ignored if it hadn't been for my reading. Lucil Hellsing 19:37, 8 January 2011 (UTC)

- I have no idea what you are talking about when you say "principles". We are talking about reporting text which exists in the game. --Brf 19:40, 8 January 2011 (UTC)

- Noone would miss 2 Grammatical errors, noone would even notice. I know it feels weird, it's like scribbling on the Declaration of Independence. But it doesn't hurt to update a forgotten text. Lucil Hellsing 19:40, 8 January 2011 (UTC)

- As I said. We always report book text, or dialog, exactly the way it is in the game. Please do not "correct" it. --Brf 19:42, 8 January 2011 (UTC)

- What do you mean with the Quotation marks around, "correct"? I did IN FACT, correct them. No question, but you doubt me? Hmm...doesn't mean much coming from a person who just started. :) Lucil Hellsing 19:45, 8 January 2011 (UTC)

- The quotes are around "correct", because changing our page so it does not reflect the text in the game is incorrect, not correct. --Brf 19:47, 8 January 2011 (UTC)

- You just said I'm wrong. And besides, even Matt hasn't responded. That shows how much everyone cares, I just don't want to confuse future readers of the script. Lucil Hellsing 19:52, 8 January 2011 (UTC)

- Matt? He was just agreeing with me when he made his first post here. Why should he respond when he sees I am already handling it? --Brf 19:55, 8 January 2011 (UTC)

Pengepi's talk pageEdit
I apologize. It was not my intention to talk behind your back. I was merely reporting my concerns to Krusty. As for the conversation in question. Are you kidding? Yes, Fallout is a new game by Bethesda, but WE'RE NOT GIVING UP ANYTHING HERE TO LIVE OUT YOUR OWN SELFISH DESIRES. If you do not enjoy our site, please leave. If you want to build a Fallout site so terribly, make your own. Those are your words, so why are you accusing Rigas of rudeness? and why are you now supporting Pengepi's suggestion of hosting fallout content, when you were so passionately against it? Jayden Matthews 19:38, 8 January 2011 (UTC)
Because, it's called being a neutral party. Penegepi wanted to host Fallout information on THIS site, I dissapproved. But I thought we could compromise and expand our knowledge to support other Wikia's. Does that sound so wrong? And I thought that too when I typed that, I was indeed uncivilized. But just as well, Rigas was even more rude than me. Lucil Hellsing 19:43, 8 January 2011 (UTC)
Perhaps I'm missing something, but what did Rigas say that you found rude? Jayden Matthews 19:46, 8 January 2011 (UTC)
Thank you Jayden! What did I did? --Rigas Papadopoulos • Talk • Deeds • 19:47, 8 January 2011 (UTC)
Because, Rigas droned ON and ON about how we shouldn't even after his first comment. Lucil Hellsing 19:49, 8 January 2011 (UTC)
I find that VERY rude. Lucil Hellsing 19:50, 8 January 2011 (UTC)
So did Pengepi. --Rigas Papadopoulos • Talk • Deeds • 19:51, 8 January 2011 (UTC)
-
- As of now, this discussion is going nowhere. Please drop it and stop bickering. --Arch-Mage Matt Did I Do That? 19:53, 8 January 2011 (UTC)
-
- Agreeing with Matt: Can you not all shut up? This argument has gone nowhere too long. Can we not all forget what Rigas started in the first place with his hate for fallout?
-
-
- I should note that don't I hate, not even dislike Fallout. --Rigas Papadopoulos • Talk • Deeds • 20:04, 8 January 2011 (UTC)

Rigas, you won't be noting anything. Get off of my talk page. Now. Lucil Hellsing 20:07, 8 January 2011 (UTC)
Calm Down!Edit
What is your problem? You pop in and stir things up all over the place, arguing and bickering constantly; that is NOT constructive and right now, it seems like you are doing it on purpose, also known as trolling. I politely ask you to stop this destructive behavior right now, as all this crap is clogging up the Recent Changes page and I'm here to prevent that sort of thing. This is not a discussion about who is right and who is wrong - not even close. Provocative posts like this one is what convinced me; you are obviously looking for trouble. This is an unofficial warning, so calm down and stop arguing with the entire site and make yourself useful. And don't even bother arguing with me. --Krusty 19:57, 8 January 2011 (UTC)
BlockedEdit
This account has been blocked from editing UESPWiki for 1 day, due to trolling, arguing and bickering for no apparent reason, vandalizing despite being unofficially warned to stop. I don't want to hear any more arguments, so you are not allowed to edit your talk page either. —Krusty 20:21, 8 January 2011 (UTC) |
Ahem...Edit

Request for Account DeletionEdit
Just this one. Lucil Hellsing 13:25, 25 January 2011 (UTC)
- I'm afraid accounts can't be deleted. If you want to blank the user and talk pages on this account then ask an admin to block this account permanently, that's the best we can do. That's not a UESP policy, it's a limitation of MediaWiki mainly caused by the need to maintain the edit history of pages. rpeh •T•C•E• 13:34, 25 January 2011 (UTC)
