WelcomeEdit

Hello NickMoose! Welcome to UESPWiki. It's always good to have new members. If you would like to help improve any of our pages, you may want to take a look at the following links:

If you, on the other hand, would like to spice up your userpage, take a look at this link:

  • Userboxes: near complete list of userboxes, including a guide to make your own

When you're editing, it's always a good idea to leave edit summaries to explain the changes you have made to a particular page, and remember to sign your talk page posts with four tildes ~~~~. Also, the "show preview" button is a great way to view the changes you've made so far without actually saving the page (our patrollers really appreciate it!).

Feel free to practice editing in the sandbox or discuss the games in the forums. If you need any help, don't hesitate to contact one of our mentors. Have fun! –Eshetalk 16:08, 21 March 2012 (UTC)

Proudspire Manor ImageEdit

Hi again! I saw the image you uploaded yesterday--it looks nice! There's still a little UI bit to be removed, but I agree it looks better than the original. Do you think you could upload it over this image so it'll appear on the Proudspire Manor article? There's a link that says "Upload a new version of this file" at the bottom of every file page that'll let you do it. Thanks! –Eshetalk 14:29, 22 March 2012 (UTC)

Missing quest stagesEdit

Just wanted to tell you that there's an easier way to note missing quest stages. In the {{Journal Entries}} template, you can add the parameter |missing= to specify the missing stage numbers. Here is an example of doing so. Vely►Talk►Email 00:30, 20 June 2012 (UTC)

Not imprisoned?Edit

I have never played Daggerfall or Arena, so I don't know about imprisonment at the beginning there, but in Morrowind the player character is definitely imprisoned. You are on an Imperial ship that brought you and Jiub to Seyda Neen, and you have papers ordering your release from the emperor himself. You were (before the game started) in the Imperial Prison. You are referred to as a prisoner before choosing your race.

How does Daggerfall start? Vely►Talk►Email 22:17, 20 June 2012 (UTC)

Thanks, I misread it. I thought it was referring to being in a prison. -NickMoose

Vely, in Daggerfall, you are on a ship traveling on the Emperor's orders, and then a storm shipwrecks your ship, and you go into a cave for shelter or something, and you have to escape the place or something. It's been awhile since I played, but that's the rough idea. ES(talkemail) 22:32, 20 June 2012 (UTC)
I haven't played much Daggerfall, and it's been a long time since I have. I recalled being in a dungeon setting, I guess I got mixed up. My apologies for the error. -NickMoose
So there's no imprisonment and the note can be restored? Vely►Talk►Email 22:36, 20 June 2012 (UTC)
Yes. -NickMoose
