Welcome!Edit
Hiya Playerseekingbugs! Welcome to UESPWiki. It's great when we get new members. Just thought I'd send you a welcome with some helpful info. Check out the following links:
- Policies and Guidelines: UESPWiki standards and expectations
- Quick Editing Guide: a quick guide to wiki markup
- Getting Started: how you can help
If you would like to spice up your userpage, take a look at the Userboxes page— a near complete list of userboxes, including a guide to making your own.
When you're editing, it's always a good idea to leave edit summaries to explain the changes you have made to a particular page, and remember to sign your talk page posts with four tildes ~~~~ (do not sign edits to articles). Also, the "show preview" button is a great way to view the changes you've made so far without actually saving the page (patrollers really appreciate it!).
Feel free to practice editing in the sandbox or discuss the games in the forums. If you need any help, don't hesitate to contact one of our mentors. Have fun! -ABCface◥ 20:07, 17 July 2012 (UTC)
Thank you for the welcom Alphabetface, I'm not sure how much editing I'll do beyond talk pages, but I will try to contribute to the efforts to finish fleshing out the Skyrim portions in particular when I have the time.--Playerseekingbugs 04:27, 25 July 2012 (UTC)
Unnoticed DeathsEdit
This is more of a note for myself, but vampire attacks into cities are the stupidest idea ever. Whenever a dragon attacks, at least you know about it. Residents of Riften seem to be dropping like flies behind my back. Dragons don't like to visit Riften in my game, and since the thief seems skittish about appearing during this run-through and couldn't save himself from a common wolf, only the vampires can be to blame thanks to Dawnguard. Its a terrible flaw when a game punishes the player for an add-on. I can accept even more frequent wilderness attacks with vampire, but charging into a city is illogical even by this game's standards, and does nothing but give the guards someone to slowly slaughter, and kill NPC's that are too frail to fight. A level 6 NPC was not meant to help a high level character in combat. They're supposed to stay alive so they can tell you to fix their problems and buy your loot. So why did Bethesda undermine the best reason for putting many NPC's with no combat ability in a separate cell away from virtually all danger? Here is a list for myself of who has met their doom without letting me know: Romelyn Dreth, Someone at the Pawned Prawn, Aerin, Valindor, possibly some others who didn't have keys but were not beggars, possibly a beggar
