Alyshia

Alyshia is a Breton acrobat who works as a prostitute at The Red Mare.

Alyshia sleeps during the day and works at night. She rises at 4pm on the weekdays; on Tirdas and Turdas, she eats lunch at The Swamphole, and on the other days, she'll simply go for a walk around the south end of town (if it's raining, regardless of the day, she'll remain in the Swamphole). At 7pm, she goes to work: on Tirdas and Turdas, she wanders the plaza in the center of town, and the rest of the week, she remains at the Swamphole. In either case, she remains active until 4am, then sits on a bench in the plaza to watch the sun rise before going to bed at 8am.

She wears a burgundy linen shirt and skirt, and thick cowhide shoes, and carries keys to The Red Mare and the Mare's cellar.

When you meet her, Alyshia will give you a random greeting:

  • "Oh great. My feet hurt, my nose is wet, my skin is tortured by the god-damned mosquitos and I guess that I caught that swamp fever. Again! But, go ahead. Make my day!"
  • "Don't you want to see full white breasts, soft red lips and long, long legs the whole way down? Round the corner, second street left, third house on the right, second door on the upper floor."
  • You look travelled [sic]. Don't you want to take a rest on a skin of silk, warm cheeks and lips so soft as... Hey, why don't just you get a nap and skip that tiring stuff."
  • "You went into the Oblivion? And? Is it really as hot as here?" (This one only occurs if you've gone through the gate at Kvatch.)

If you ask her about "A little pleasure", you'd better have 100 gold, or she'll turn you down: "Ah, I see, you live in a dream world. Now, I live in a real world. A world of blood, mud, dirt an' rust. And only the tiny, shiny glance of gold makes this little girl here a happy... and, for you more important, moving one. So! I suggest you get a job, while I keep mine going on. Farewell." If you do have the money, she'll take you back to The Red Mare.
