The Census and Excise Office is a building in Leyawiin. It is located in the northern port, along the main dock.
The lower floor consists of one large room. J'Haurr stands behind a desk near the door to help visitors. An executive desk across the room is where Ri'Shar, the head of the office, does his work during the day. Bookshelves along the wall between the two hold books, an alchemy set, and a bust. A couch sits against the wall to the left of the door; next to it is a fireplace. Stairs lead to the upper floor, where J'Haurr has a small sleeping area - a single bed and nightstand, along with a writing desk. A door leads to Ri'Shar's quarters, a two-room apartment. The main room has a shelf near the door with various items of silver; a skooma pipe sits on a table beside it. Two loveseats and a low table occupy the corner opposite the door, and a fireplace takes up the one next to them. A writing desk sits and bookcase sit against the wall to the right of the door. An open doorway leads to the bedroom, which has a double bed, chest of drawers, and an armoire.
