Gem of the North is a store that sells all manner of jewelry.
The proprietor, Bidelia, has 500 gold, a Mercantile skill of 6, and buys and sells clothing items.
The shop is located on the west end of Bruma, on the level below the castle. The front door opens into a small entry area; the shop itself has a large circular rug in the middle of the room, over which is placed a curved counter. A trio of display cases along the walls show off Bidelia's gems, and one near the entrance has a selection of necklaces. Two sliding doors lead to private areas - one is her dining room, which has a long dining table, shelves for dishes, and a set of drawers in the corner; the other is a storage area.
Stairs here lead up to the second floor, which is where Bidelia works and sleeps. The room at one end holds a workbench where she makes and repairs jewelry, along with a large safe tucked into an alcove. The room at the other end is her bedroom. There's a double bed and armoire at one end; the other is covered with a large rug and has a desk and chair, a bookcase, end table, and a side table.
