Imperial City, Temple District

The Hospital is a building in the Imperial City Temple District. It is located on the upper level, in the southeast corner; it occupies the entire front of the block facing the Temple of the One.

HospitalEdit

There are three entrances along the front of the building. The southernmost one leads to the main sick room, where all the patients stay; the other two lead to the reception area. The sick room has half a dozen beds arrayed along the perimeter of the room; each has a chair beside it for doctors or visitors to sit. A table in the middle of the room holds two scrolls of Calm and three Cure Disease potions. More tables and cupboards along the walls hold bowls, clutter, and food. A door in the back corner leads to a private room with a nicer bed, end table, dresser, and armoire. A set of stairs leads to the upper floor.

The reception area, accessible through an open doorway, has a curved counter facing the doors, behind which are several rows of benches. Fralvi Albuttian works here, taking in patients and processing visitors. Another doorway leads to the administrative area - a smaller room with another counter where Caccia Albuttian works. A set of stairs leads up, and two doors lead out of here: the one to the right goes to a small office with three writing desks and several cupboards and barrels of supplies. The one straight ahead leads to the operating area. A short hallway has two benches for patients to wait, and two doors. The one at the end goes outside, while the other leads to a room with a blood-stained table. Along the walls are a bookcase full of calm scrolls, paralysis potions, and cure disease potions; two tables with alchemical equipment, a shelf with bowls and ingredients, and three cupboards of healing supplies.

The upper floor has another sickbay - this one with only four beds, each of which has a cupboard, and a desk and flanking tables in the middle of the room. Another table by the wall has a mortar and pestle, some glow dust, and gingko leaf on it. Two cupboards opposite hold food, and two low dressers hold clutter. A door opposite the entrance opens onto a hallway with four smaller single rooms for violent patients; the other end opens onto a room at the top of the other set of stairs, which is used for storage.

Another door from here leads to the morgue, where Graggo Sendal works. A tall bookcase near the door holds various potions and two retorts. A table next to it has a journeyman calcinator and apprentice alembic, along with imp gall, frost salts, human skin, and two bottles of human blood. A chest in the corner holds more healing potions, and a bookcase next to that holds books, bones, and bonemeal. A table in the middle of the room holds a cadaver in the process of dissection. Another bookcase nearby holds reference texts, more human blood, and a human heart. A table and chair back in the corner serve as Graggo's desk, and another chest by the back wall holds more potions.

Hospital, Faith Healing and Potion ResearchEdit

The building next door is the Faith Healing and Potion Research branch. The lower floor is given over to researching and creating new potions; three tables in the center part of the room have alchemical apparatus, potions, and ingredients. Cupboards and barrels along the walls store various potions, ingredients, and clutter items. The upper floor is one room with a shrine to the Nine Divines, in the center of which is a small pile of coins (it requires a donation of 10 gold to activate); a smaller room with a door contains a single bed. Surudu Cedus tends to the shrine during the day, when the place is open to the public.
