Maximus is an Imperial warrior who lives in Leyawiin with Harper.
Maximus sleeps from 6am to 4pm; he gets up and eats, then spends a few hours drinking skooma in his room. At 9pm, he goes out to wander the docks until 4am, then he staggers into Hjalmar's Beer House and drinks until 6am, when he goes home to bed.
He wears a brown shirt, light brown linen pants, and jail shoes, and is armed with a steel short sword; he carries three pieces of stale bread, 10 bottles of Nibenay Beer, a small amount of gold, and a house key.
Maximus' house is located south of the city. The main room has a space for Harper's bed and chest of drawers; the far wall is used as an archery range (a table at the opposite wall is the target), and a dining table sits near the target. A room in the back is Maximus' area; it has his bed and dresser, as well as a spare bed.
