Selvia Urgeli is an Imperial commoner who works in the Public Bathing House Gardens, in the Imperial City Waterfront Tunnel. She serves as caretaker for the gardens, making sure that people don't harvest the plants or climb over the fences.
Selvia gets up at 6am every morning and eats breakfast for two hours before she goes up to the gardens. She remains there all day until 8pm, when she returns to the private quarters, eats dinner for two hours, then goes to bed.
She wears a blacksmith's apron, light brown linen skirt, and thick cowhide shoes; she carries an assortment of gardening tools, a key to the bathhouse, and a loaf of bread.
Selvia and Peric share a small a small apartment on the east side of the tunnel's upper level, just north of the Bathing House. It has two beds, bookcases, and tables. The bookcase on Selvia's side has numerous small boxes of seeds and small pots where she raises flowers until they can be transplanted to the garden. Her table is a workspace with more pots where she cares for her flowers. Peric's side is more spare - a few books, a small bag, and a few coins are the sum of his possessions; he uses the table to eat his meals.
If you run into Selvia, she'll greet you: "Oh, don't mind me, I'm just here to tend to the plants." If you ask if she's the gardener, she says: "I am! I raised most of the plants you see here from seedlings I got from the Arboretum. It's still not as pretty as the Arboretum District, but I sure am trying my hardest to get it that way."
