Camarril was a prince of an unknown Cyrodilic dynasty.[1]
His tomb is located in the Green Emperor Way district of the Imperial City.[1] Mankar Camoran's infamous Commentaries on the Mysterium Xarxes contain a hidden message that points to the tomb of Camarril, upon which Mankar had inscribed a runic depiction of the symbol of the Mythic Dawn and the location of their hidden base, which was enchanted to glow red at midday. The Hero of Kvatch was able to find this hidden message and infiltrate their base in the caverns beneath Lake Arrius circa 3E 433.[2]
NotesEdit
- Camarril's race is unknown, though his name shares phonetic patterns to most elven names.
- Mankar Camoran's Commentaries were said to have been contemporary with Tiber Septim, written over 400 years before 3E 433,[3] though this conflicts with Mankar's alleged birth year of 3E 267.[4] If the claim is somehow true and the Commentaries are in fact that old, it is unlikely Camarril was tied to the Septim Dynasty as his tomb was already in existence during the lifetime of Tiber Septim.[3]
