The Norvulk Hills is a settlement found on the rolling hills of Stormhaven, in the province of High Rock. It is built from the ruins of the same name, which was named after Norvulk Tome-Hoarder, an eccentric wizard from the Second Empire.[1]
HistoryEdit
The Norvulk Ruins have lost their original name as the eras kept going, but it garnered its name from its inhabitant, the wizard, Norvulk Tome-Hoarder, who was active in the Second Empire.[1] Sometime later in 2E 582, it was redoubt used by the Supernal Dreamers to plunder its riches and secrets, But it became a base for the Order of the Black Worm, and the King of Worms, Mannimarco used it as a place to store his important documents.[2] Dremora wandered across the halls and kept cursed artifacts that the Undaunted had later purified.[3]
During the Imperial Simulacrum in the late-Third Era, the village of Norvulk Hills was an active settlement. It was ruled by Lady Chrystorya and had a rivalry with Wind Keep. The only temple it had at the time was the Brotherhood of Seth.[4] The Norvulk Hills were neighbored by several settlements, including Portdun Creek to the north and Vermeir Wastes to the south.[5]
