WalkthroughEdit
Some time after the dust settles in the castle, you'll get a journal entry telling to check in with Alberto. He wants you to track down a potentially valuable property deed, which is in the Headhunter's Lodgings in Kathar. Fortunately, the deed is lying on a crate near the door; unfortunately, it's owned, so taking it is considered stealing. Even worse, it's worthless - when you take it back to Alberto, he'll tell you it belongs to a family whose holdings were stripped from them decades ago. If you have an aversion to stealing, or somehow lose it, you'll have to fork over 3000 gold to Alberto. It is, however, actually useful for completing the quest The Cursebreaker.
Journal EntriesEdit

Stage | Finishes Quest | Journal Entry |
10 | I should look in on Alberto - perhaps the old crook has some lucrative additional income to offer.
20 | Alberto told me about an Argonian who was reportedly attacked a few weeks ago by headhunters. The lizard was probably a trader and somehow came by a document that identifies its owner as the owner of an estate in Kathar. Alberto suspects that it's now in the home of the headhunters guild in Kathar. Of course, I am the right person to "lift" it.
30 | I have taken the deed Alberto requested of me.
40 | I gave Alberto the Ferrouls' deed, but he thinks that it is worthless because the Ferrouls were officially expropriated years ago. I can therefore write off a reward as well. Maybe the next job will bring more.
50 | I didn't have the deed and instead paid Alberto three thousand gold coins. Hopefully the job will bring me enough to make up for this loss. |
- Notes
- Not all Journal Entries may appear in your journal; which entries appear and which entries do not depends on the manner in which the quest is done.
- Stages are not always in order of progress. This is usually the case with quests that have multiple possible outcomes or quests where certain tasks may be done in random order.
- If an entry is marked as "Finishes Quest" it means the quest disappears from the Active Quest list, but you may still receive new entries for that quest.
- It is possible to use the console to advance through the quest by entering
setstage ODDAss22Urkunde stage
, wherestage
is the number of the stage you wish to complete. It is not possible to un-complete (i.e. go back) quest stages. See SetStage for more information.
