WalkthroughEdit

This quest occurs while you're trying to find a way into the Great Pyramid. You'll find a sword near the entrance, which points you to the Arena. There, you'll find a man named Morbelln, who has a tablet that might grant you access. He's willing to let it go... if you defeat him in a match. You have to put up 1000 gold against his tablet; if you win, you get the tablet. The only problem? It doesn't open the pyramid. In fact, it's a complete red herring - it doesn't go anywhere.

Journal EntriesEdit

Way Into the Pyramid (ODDDesertFalseWay)
Stage Finishes Quest Journal Entry
30 Near the pyramid, I discovered a sword with an engraving: "M. the Tiger, honorable Arena Grandmaster". It seems to belong to an Arena fighter. Maybe he knows how to get into the pyramid? To the Arena!
40 In the desert Arena, I met Morbelln. Apparently the sword belonged to him, and he probably found a tablet at the pyramid. He didn't want to give it to me. However, he offered to fight in the arena against me. For a fight, I only need one thousand pieces of gold as an entry fee.
50 I defeated Morbelln in the Arena and can now pick up the tablet from the barrel. Its content must contain a clue as to how I get into the pyramid.
60 Finishes quest  Damn! The notes on the tablet I won in the Arena don't fit to the entrance of the pyramid. This fucking desert! And all that just because of the crazy High Elf. Ocato will wish he had never been born... that is, it I get out of here again. Well, it looks like I'll have to find another way to open the door to the pyramid.
Notes
  • Not all Journal Entries may appear in your journal; which entries appear and which entries do not depends on the manner in which the quest is done.
  • Stages are not always in order of progress. This is usually the case with quests that have multiple possible outcomes or quests where certain tasks may be done in random order.
  • If an entry is marked as "Finishes Quest" it means the quest disappears from the Active Quest list, but you may still receive new entries for that quest.
  •   It is possible to use the console to advance through the quest by entering setstage ODDDesertFalseWay stage, where stage is the number of the stage you wish to complete. It is not possible to un-complete (i.e. go back) quest stages. See SetStage for more information.
