Agmund the Insightful

Agmund the Insightful is a Nord scholar who can be found during a random encounter in the West Weald. He is traveling alongside Isayas, and they have gotten themselves lost on the way to Skingrad.

DialogueEdit

You'll find he and his companion conversing on the side of the road.

Isayas: "Lost? How can we be lost? We make this trip every year."
Agmund the Insightful: "Give me a moment to get my bearings. This wouldn't have happened if we weren't debating all the time. It distracts me."

You can then speak to him.

"(?)"

If you ask Isayas about the Molag Bal Paradox, Agmund pipes up:

Agmund the Insightful: "Well, I just figured out where we need to go. But I am excited that this stranger wants to enter the debate now!"

You can ask him for his input at this point.

"The Molag Bal Paradox is a classic. I wanted to dig into it because I know Isayas doesn't like talking about Daedra, but I also think it's a good one to pass the time."
What are your thoughts on the paradox?
"I felt that Molag Bal being alive implies that Aurbic forces wish him not to exist, and so in defiance he chooses to remain alive. That implies that the universe at large wishes us to suffer, which would be both amusing and sad."

If you speak to him again after you get his opinion on the paradox, he'll say:

"I'm very eager to get moving. West Weald wine accompanies cosmic theories the best!"

After you weigh in on the debate, Isayas and Agmund will walk away.

Isayas: "Let's get moving, Agmund. If we're lucky, there'll be sweet rolls available at the bakery by the time we arrive."
Agmund the Insightful: "Oh thank the Eight. I was going to say the same thing, Isayas.
Bye, traveler! Thanks for the help!"
