Quest-Related EventsEdit

After the events of Lost Depths, Druid Laurel will be in Glenumbra chasing down a lead relating the journey of the Druids of Galen. After you help her find Dhulef, you can go to the nearby Beldama Wyrd camp, where you find one of their Wyresses—Wyress Tola—had been abducted by Archdruid Michiel and the Firesong. This is significant as she is knowledgeable about the old stories involving the meeting between the Wyrds and Kasorayn, the last Druid King.

Once you have searched the Firesong's nearby camps, you will be led to Eimhir's Cavern. Deep inside the cavern, you will witness Archdruid Michiel speak to Wyresses Tola as his underlings corrupt the pillars of the ritual site.

Archdruid Michiel: "The ritual is nearly complete. The spirit will be ours soon enough."
Wyress Tola: "How dare you disturb a sacred spirit of nature!"
Archdruid Michiel: "Careful, wyress. The spirit will belong to the Firesong. The prophecy decrees it!"
Druid Laurel: "Down there! Hurry!"

As you run down the twisting passage to the ritual site, you will hear lines of the ritual chant as spoken by the archdruid:

Archdruid Michiel: "Roots untangle, bindings shrivel …."
Archdruid Michiel: "Wake and obey, the Firesong command you …."
Wyress Tola: "No, you cannot summon the spirit! It's not time!"
Archdruid Michiel: "You dare command an archdruid, wyress? I have no further need of you. Time to die!"

When you enter the ritual chamber, you will first need to fight off Ruairi the Thorn Piercer and an Ursauk Tairnan before you can reach Wyress Tola. When you arrive, Tola will have her hands up as Archdruid Michiel levels his strung bow at her:

Wyress Tola: "No, stay back!"
<Archdruid Michiel lowers his bow when he notices you arriving.>
Archdruid Michiel: "Bah! I don't have time for distractions. The second ritual site awaits."
<Archdruid Michiel opens a portal and leaves.>
Druid Laurel: "Wyress Tola, are you all right?"
Wyress Tola: "Ah, Dhulef. You and your friends arrived just in time. Thank you."

Speaking with Wyress Tola, she will tell you the meaning of the tablet you hold. It relates to the aforementioned meeting between the Wyrds and Druid King as well as the rituals needed to consecrate a site for a nature spirit. The one in Glenumbra was desecrated and she believes the Firesong will try and do the same for the Ritual Site hidden in Bangkorai. She then tells you to meet with Wyress Sorcha of the Glenmoril Wyrd.

Wyress Tola creates a portal for you to reach the Glenmoril camp quickly, but you find you are too late, Archdruid Michiel already came and abducted Druid Sorcha and took her to the Ritual Site which is hidden within the Sunken Road. When you find the entrance to the second site, you unfortunately find Wyress Sorcha's body. Chasing after the archdruid, you fight through Firesong druids within the Yokudan ruins until you reach the center where Archdruid Michiel can be found before what appears to be a giant purple flower with it's petals furled up:

Archdruid Michiel: "The ritual is complete. The spirit, it stirs."
Archdruid Michiel: "Soon, the power of this ancient spirit will belong to the Firesong!"

When you reach him, Archruid Michiel will walk away from the pod containing the nature spirit:

Archdruid Michiel: "Too late, fools! I claim the ancient spirit for the Firesong, just as the prophecy dictates!"

He will then summon two Primal Ursauks to fight alongside him:

Archdruid Michiel: "Witness the power of a Firesong archdruid!"

During the fight, he will call out to you for getting in the way:

Archdruid Michiel: "You and that blighted Stonelore! Why must you interfere?"

Once he is killed:

Archdruid Michiel: "You can't turn the tide of prophecy …."

At this Druid Laurel and Dhulef will come down and have you assist them in freeing the spirit, who turns out to be more humanoid than they expected.
