The Corruption of Root (originally the Spirit of Root) is a nature spirit who takes a form resembling a Wispmother. She is found at the Dais of Rootspeak within the Deeproot at the of the Earthen Root Enclave. This spirit was corrupted by the invading Firesong Druids who are lead by Archdruid Devyric.
The Corruption of Root serves as the second boss of this dungeon.
