The Desert Retreat is a Yokudan ruin in western Hew's Bane.
The entrance is hidden at the end of a watery valley that starts south of the Placations of Zeht. It can only be entered during the related quest, and doing so counts as trespassing. The door has an Intermediate lock.
Once within, you'll find yourself in a short hallway called the Main Hall. At the end of the hallway, you must drop down into a flooded room filled with treasure. This room contains the four clues needed for the quest. Once you've recovered them all, you cannot jump back up the way you came to exit the ruins. Instead, a side passage leads to a one-way door back to the Main Hall.
