The Collector's Villa
Our only clue as to the next step in Sister Celdina and the Waking Flame's plans is an encoded note we can't decipher. Both Lyranth and the Anchorite believe that we can find someone in Fargrave who can translate it for us.

Detailed WalkthroughEdit

Lyranth will come straight to the point. She asks you to take the coded message found in the bathhouse to Madam Whim to see if she knows anyone who might be able to decipher it. Arriving at the House of Whims, talk to Madam Whim, who will point you to the Anchorite and the Collector. You'll need to look for the Anchorite and see what she knows about this Collector before going to their villa on the west side of the city.

Once inside the Collector's villa, speak to Gazmod the Collector and find out if there's anything in their collection that can help decipher the Waking Flame code. While the Anchorite keeps the Collector occupied, you and Lyranth will explore the villa's galleries, search the collection, and find the item that can help decipher the encoded note.

The Collector mentions something in their collection that could decipher Dagonic codes. They called it "the Arox." Search through the collection and locate it -- but it isn't a relic. Arox is a talking daedrat! Releasing Arox from his confinement, you can talk to him and see if he can actually help decipher the encoded note, then locate the Anchorite and leave the villa before the Collector sends anything against you.

Now to return to Madam Whim's. There you can talk to Arox and find out more about the encoded note he deciphered. The deciphered note indicates that the Waking Flame's Daedric allies are gathering troops at a fortress in the Deadlands known as Burning Gyre Keep. Go there to stop the invasion of Fargrave before it begins!

You'll meet Lyranth and the Anchorite at Burning Gyre Keep. Some sort of energy was unleashed inside the fortress and Lyranth thinks you should investigate. Inside, Lyranth spots a Broken Bladebearer Sword, bearing the mark of the Bladebearer's clan, among a pile of discarded junk. Examine the sword, but the significance of this item will remain unclear. Continue to explore the keep and try to determine what's going on.

Sister Celdina will order her Incarnate to destroy you. Engage it while Lyranth weakens it. She'll point you to powerful pools of magicka she places on the ground nearby, which you can use to defeat the Incarnate faster. After defeating it, you'll watch Sister Celdina and Valkynaz Nokroz escape again, this time after overhearing Celdina talk about making more Incarnates at the Riven Cataclyst. Lyranth opens a portal back to Fargrave. You can find Lyranth at the House of Whims and go over what you learned at Burning Gyre Keep, and what to do next.
