The Dwarven Scarab is a Dwarven construct that can be obtained via the Antiquities system with the Markarth DLC. Its default name is "Ambler".
The pet is split into 7 fragments. Leads for each fragment drop from any mob in Bthar-Zel in Blackreach: Arkthzand Cavern. The Leads have an extremely low drop rate, primarily as all mobs in this dungeon (mostly Dwarven Architon mobs) rarely drop any loot upon death, let alone an Antiquity Lead.
After collecting, scrying, and excavating all 7 leads, the pet will be unlocked in your Collections menu.
