Quick WalkthroughEdit
- Talk to Queen Maraya in Shornhelm Castle.
- Meet First Mate Elvira Derre in Northsalt Village.
- Talk to Elvira again on arrival at Sentinel Docks.
Detailed WalkthroughEdit
Speak to Queen Maraya after watching the crowning of the new king or queen of Shornhelm. She will tell you that she's heard rumors of a necromancer in Sentinel. She's worried about her homeland and her father and asks you to check on them. She tells you she already prepared your passage aboard a ship and to speak to Elvira Derre.
Find Elvira Derre, First Mate of the Dawn Posset sailing under Captain Marck, on the docks in Northsalt Village. As soon as you tell her you are ready to leave and exit the dialogue, she will say, "All right you lubbers. Time to cast off!" The screen will go dark, and you will then find yourself aboard a ship at the Sentinel Docks.
Speak to Elvira again before leaving the ship to ask what's going on and receive your reward.
NotesEdit
- This quest is only offered if you have not started Rise of the Dead or Risen From the Depths in Alik'r Desert.

- Not all Journal Entries may appear in your journal; which entries appear and which entries do not depends on the manner in which the quest is done.
- Stages are not always in order of progress. This is usually the case with quests that have multiple possible outcomes or quests where certain tasks may be done in any order. Some stages may therefore repeat objectives seen in other stages.
