A Moonlit ShadowEdit

As you approach, you will find some Twilight Cantors and a member of the Torval Curiata in discussion:

Cantor Krin'ze: "A fallen star is an omen of someone in need."
High Cantor Viti: "Priorities, my sahida. The answer is no."
Inquisitor Sabannar: "We have greater concerns. Let someone else see to your fallen star."

You can talk to her, though she will be dismissive of you:

"We are strangers, yes? And strangers shall we remain. May Azurah guide you on your journey."

After talking to Cantor Krin'ze about the falling star she witnessed and agreeing to help, you can try speaking with her again:

"You agreed to satisfy Krin'ze's curiosity about this fallen star?
This one would sing you a song of gratitude, but I must save my voice for other matters. Be on your way then, with Azurah's blessings."
If you're all right with me doing it, why won't you let Krin'ze investigate this fallen star?
"We have orders from the Inquisitors of the Torval Curiata.
Our mission involves something dire and immediate. We need the voice of every cantor we can get. As soon as the rest of our cohort arrives, we must go. But Azurah provides and sent us you."

While investigating the falling star Cantor Krin'ze mentioned, you end up finding an old tomb, and it's occupant who is very alive—Zerith-var. While helping the hadaliit of the Hidden Moon get his bearings, you end up accompanying him to a suspected dro-m'Athra incursion at Claw's Strike.

Finding the Ruined Reliquary within the Claw's Strike, you will witness some Twilight Cantors performing a ritual against a dro-m'Athra. Zerith-var will be shocked at what occurs:

<The Cantors sing and the dro-m'Athra explodes in golden light and Cantor Krin'ze getting hurt in the process.>
Cantor Ta'khida: "Krin'ze! Are you all right?"
Cantor Krin'ze: "I will be fine. We must go after the others!"
High Cantor Viti: "We will handle it. Join us when you have recovered."
<Cantor Ta'khida and High Cantor Viti run into the next room.>
Zerith-var: "They destroyed a dro-m'Athra! Its soul. It is … gone!"

Heading into Abandoned Altar chamber, you will witness Cantor Ta'khida and High Cantor Viti fighting Ravith-morna. They will be swiftly defeated as High Cantor Viti is thrown to the side and Cantor Ta'khida is transformed into a Rajaska. Talking to Viti before fighting Ta'khida-morna:

"So this is the meaning … of the fallen star? Do … what you can, stranger."

After you defeat Ta'khida-morna, Zerith-var will summon Ta'khida's spirit and purify her. If you talk to Viti she will be shocked:

"Cantor Ta'khida! What did he do to her?"

Speaking with Zerith-var, he will explains his Order used necromancy to purify and redeem fallen spirits. If you speak with High Cantor Viti before going through the portal, it is clear she is not happy with she heard:

"Stay back from me, najeek! My soul is not forfeit to you or your necromancer!"

Zerith-var will then have you accompany him to the Temple of the Dark Moon on Khenarthi's Roost only to find it destroyed. While searching for items in the ruins to empower the moonclaw, you are ambushed by Inquisitor Tashkier and learn the Torval Curiata now has a kill order for him.

After the moonclaw's power is restored, a new dro-m'Athra incursion is detected and the portal brings you to The Vile Manse where you meet High Cantor Viti and an injured Cantor Krin'ze:

<Zerith-var runs towards the Manse and climbs up the stairs.>
Zerith-var: "Ziss'vo, this oviit dwelling! What an eyesore!"
<He then sees High Cantor Viti and Cantor Krin'ze.>
Zerith-var: "The young cantor! And the other one."
Cantor Krin'ze: "Viti! You've done enough. Let them help."
High Cantor Viti: "Do not touch her, necromancer!"
Zerith-var: "Are you injured, ja'rithantii? Let me tend to your wounds."
<A blue light appears in Zerith-var's hand and he begins healing Cantor Krin'ze.>

Speaking with her before Cantor Krin'ze:

"This one heard what this Zerith-var said in Claw's Strike. Necromancy! Viti will not tolerate dark magic near her or her young sahida."

After talking to Cantor Krin'ze:

"This one knows better than to take the word of a necromancer.
The others may be lost, but Viti will not let your influence spread to young Krin'ze. She stays with me."

After agreeing to follow Zerith-var:

"Begone. If you wish to throw your life away, Viti will not stop you."

You find the dro-m'Athra in the Undercroft, and Ravith-morna will corrupt Cantor Zayabi when you reach them. While Zayabi-morna is slain, Zerith-var redeems her soul and you are able to rescue Cantor Cer'enza and Cantor Tharis-jo.

After you leave the Vile Manse, you will find Zerith-var apologising to Cantor Krin'ze for being unable to help any further:

Zerith-var: "I am sorry, rithantiin. I can cleanse your souls, but I am powerless to stop the corruption before it overtakes you."
Cantor Krin'ze: "This the Twilight Cantors can do. Quickly, Viti! Aid me!"
<High Cantor Viti and Cantor Krin'ze use their powers and Cantors Cer'enza and Tharis-jo are quickly cleansed.>

You can talk to her before Zerith-var:

"This trouble, it is all the outsider and the necromancer's fault! Leave us!"

You may talk to her after the end of the quest:

"The Inquisitors of the Torval Curiata will find you, outsider. You and your necromancer.
Stay away from the Twilight Cantors or else."
Why don't you trust Zerith-var?
"When you have walked the world as I have, you see how often trust is rewarded.
Stay away from my sahida. She may not understand, but I know nothing good comes from abiding necromancy. Even if it is well-intended."

Beyond a Veil of TwilightEdit

After reaching Friendly rapport with Zerith-var, he will have you accompany him to meet with Cantor Krin'ze after receiving a letter from her. Cantor Krin'ze will explain that recently several Twilight Cantors have gone missing, and her friend Cantor Izalgo is the latest one. After getting a lead directing you to Goldfolly, you find the Rajaska had killed or corrupted the Inquisitors accompanying Cantor Izalgo, who had been taken by them. You also find his journal which shows Izalgo had been lured there by Ravith-morna via his dreams.

When you return to the Redfur Trading Post you encounter High Cantor Viti approaching from the opposite direction:

Zerith-var: "Ziss. That is the high cantor, yes? Looking as sour as ever. What is she doing here?"
High Cantor Viti: "At last, my sahida's presence here makes sense. You lured her here!"

You have the option of speaking with the High Cantor or continuing on to Krin'ze. In the case you talk to her:

"This ends now! This one forbids you from involving Krin'ze any further in your misdeeds.
Viti does not wish to see the Inquisitors take notice and act against the young one."
Cantor Krin'ze asked us to come here.
"My sahida? Disobey my direct orders? You and that charlatan necromancer have influenced her with your dark thoughts.
And in so short a time! What business could she have with you?"
She asked us to look for Cantor Izalgo. We discovered that Rajaska lured him to Goldfolly.
"Ah yes. The Rajaska. How convenient that they appeared at the same time as your friend.
This one looked into his Order of the Hidden Moon. A once-noble clan brought to ruin by corruption from within. And this is who you choose to travel with?"
The Rajaska are hunting Twilight Cantors. We can stop them.
"When the vulture eats the asp, it does not do so out of virtue. It does so to slake its appetite for flesh.
You may hunt the shadows. This one has seen as much. But there is a darkness in your friend where his heart should be. Viti can sense it."
What are you talking about?

She then ends the conversation and makes a parting remark at Zerith-var:

High Cantor Viti: "This one knows what she senses. An exorcist of my years is not wrong about such things. There is darkness in you, Zerith-var."
<High Cantor Viti continues on her way.>
Zerith-var: "Let her go, tamiit. We should tell Krin'ze what we found in Goldfolly."

Paths Out Of DarknessEdit

When you reach Close Rapport with Zerith-var, he will approach you after receiving a letter from High Cantor Viti asking to meet with him, and you near Pa'alat. Due to their past interactions, he is suspicious of the request. On the advice of Cantor Krin'ze, you go to the town and ask the locals about what they have seen recently, before going to the meeting spot.

After speaking with the locals and receiving the Summons of the Inquisition letter, you learn the Inquisitors seek High Cantor Viti in order to blame the Twilight Cantors for the spread of the Rajaska. You can then go to the meeting spot overlooking the city, but as you approach, Zerith-var will suggest you hide as he can sense another person other than High Cantor Viti is there.

You can find a basket to hide in and observe what happens: [verification needed — need version where you reveal yourself]

High Cantor Viti: "Show yourself, Inquisitor. Appear and let's be done with this."
<Grand Inquisitor Arsalan appears in a plume of red spoke and High Cantor Viti turns around.>
Grand Inquisitor Arsalan: "Bold, high cantor. Few invoke the Inquisition so casually."
High Cantor Viti: "Grand Inquisitor Arsalan? To what do I owe the pleasure of this visit?"
Grand Inquisitor Arsalan: "Come now, Viti. You must have received the summons. Your protege, Krin'ze. She consorts with heretics. Tell me where to find her."
High Cantor Viti: "I do not keep track of every cantor's comings and goings. Beyond that, I have nothing else to say to the Inquisition!"
<Grand Inquisior Arslan steps close to High Cantor Viti.>
Grand Inquisitor Arsalan: "Very well. I do so enjoy hunting apostates. Your refusal to cooperate will not be forgotten, Viti."
<Grand Inquisitor Arsalan disappears in red smoke.>
High Cantor Viti: "He has departed, walker. You might as well come out now."

If you reveal your presence during the conversation, it will immediately stop and the following will happen:[verification needed — see talk page]

(?): "Oh, gak."
Grand Inquisitor Arsalan: "The heretics? Here?"
Grand Inquisitor Arsalan: "Creatures of darkness seek to strike from the shadows? Two can play at that game. Wait and see."
<Grand Inquisitor Arsalan disappears.>
High Cantor Viti: "You could not wait until that muskarse had gone?"
Zerith-var: "You knew we were here? Well, you did invite us, high cantor. You wished to speak? Then let us do so."

After you leave the basket, High Cantor Viti walks away from the cliff edge:

High Cantor Viti: "I suppose the two of you would like an explanation."
<Zerith-var approaches her.>
Zerith-var: "As I said when we met, sister Viti, we are on the same side."

Speak with High Cantor Viti to learn why she wanted to meet with you:

"This one is sorry you had to witness that muskarse dull claw, but Viti is thankful you are here nonetheless.
This one summoned you here to make amends and to ask for your help. She did not expect the Inquisition to follow her, though."
Perhaps you should explain, high cantor.
"This one's fear of necromancy blinded her to the Hidden Moon's true calling. Viti now wishes to see Zerith-var's powers of redemption with her own eyes.
In exchange for this service, Viti is prepared to offer information of value to you."
What sort of information?
"This one will share everything the Inquisition knows about the Rajaska. You seek their leader, Ravith-morna, yes? Viti knows the den where she lairs.
If you agree to this, let us meet in Orcrest, in Northern Elsweyr."
Let me see what Zerith thinks about all this.

At this, Zerith-var will suggest demonstrating his powers right now:

Zerith-var: "We need not go to Orcrest. I will happily demonstrate my powers here. And once you reveal where to find Ravith-morna, we can end the Rajaska threat."
High Cantor Viti: "No, hadaliit. It must be Orcrest. For—wait, someone approaches!"
<Cantor Krin'ze runs up to your group.>
Cantor Krin'ze: "When do you plan to make amends with your former sahida, high cantor?"
High Cantor Viti: "Krin'ze? This one hoped you were far from the reach of the Inquisitors. Please, sahida. Let us speak."
<Cantors Viti and Krin'ze walk over to the side.>
Zerith-var: "A promising reunion. Let us give them a moment."

If you try talking to Viti before Zerith-var:

"Please, let Krin'ze and Viti speak in private, walker."

Speaking with Zerith-var, he will agree to go to Orcrest and uses his Moonclaw to open a portal:

Zerith-var: "Now, if all the talking is done, let us get to Orcrest."
High Cantor Viti: "You surpassed the need for this one's tutelage long ago, Krin'ze. Viti would be honored for you to teach her Talbira's song."
Cantor Krin'ze: "Then we will face these troubles together, as equals. But your guidance will always be appreciated."

You have the option of talking to High Cantor Viti before leaving:

"What a curious relic Zerith-var wields. Shearing doors between one location and another? This one feels the Lunar Lattice at work and looks forward to witnessing his powers when we reach Orcrest."
Why do we need to go to Orcrest for this display of power, high cantor?
"It is … a personal matter. This one has history in Orcrest.
It is something that has weighed heavy upon Viti's soul for some time now. We will talk more about it once we reach our destination."
Completed Orcrest Objective:
Otherwise:
I've been to Orcrest. It's dangerous if you can't defend yourself.
"Viti is aware. A different sort of danger than Inquisitors or Rajaska, yes? And this one knows of no songs to drive off sickness and disease.
But Krin'ze tells me this is no concern for you and Zerith-var. This one hopes she is not wrong about that."
Is there danger in Orcrest?
"Great danger. This once-proud city is overrun with plague and monsters. The Twilight Cantors know of no songs that might help.
But Krin'ze tells Viti this is no concern for you and Zerith-var. This one hopes my sahida is not wrong about that."

After you enter the portal and arrive in Orcrest, Viti will tell you where you need to go:

High Cantor Viti: "Our destination lies in the Upper City. A cellar entrance near the town hall. That is our goal."
Zerith-var: "Cantors, remain here. I will open a portal with my moonclaw when we reach the cellar."

Speaking with High Cantor Viti before continuing:

"We will wait here until Zerith-var calls for us to join you."

You and Zerith-var fight you way through to the entrance of the Orcrest Town Hall Cellar. Once inside, you find some space to open a portal:

Zerith-var: "This will work. Let me send for our rithantiin."
<The portal opens and the cantors emerge from it.>
High Cantor Viti: "Yes, this is it. Viti remembers these halls. Come, quickly!"
<High Cantor Viti runs off down the passage.>
Cantor Krin'ze: "Viti, wait! This way, my friends!"
<Cantor Krin'ze chases after her.>

You follow Viti to the Inner Cellar, where she will walk towards a skeleton tied to a rack:

High Cantor Viti: "Everything is just as it was."
Cantor Krin'ze: "Viti! Please. Tell us why you brought us here."

Speak to High Cantor Viti to hear her story:

"Years ago, these halls served as a quarantine in times of plague and famine. Those who suffered from physical or spiritual illness were locked away, forgotten. Like this one's sister, Eifa.
Her remains are … there. Where she fell."
Your sister was ill and died in quarantine?
"This one was away when the plague struck. Eifa sought dark magic to resurrect those we lost. It was a desperate bargain. From that desperation came the pull of the Bent Dance.
By the time this one returned, it was too late for her songs to save her."
Eifa became a dro-m'Athra?
"No. Viti killed her before she fully turned. Otherwise, the song of banishment would see her soul lost forever. Viti thought it was a mercy. Done out of love. But after all these years, this one knows Eifa is lost, unable to reach Azurah's Crossing."
That's why you brought Zerith-var here?
"Zerith's methods cleanse and purify. They do not destroy. This one asks that he invite forth Eifa's spirit. Let this one try to make amends … for her sake as much as mine.
This is how his gift from Azurah works, yes? Will he help Viti?"
This is what Zerith does. Let's see what he thinks about all this.
"Do not discount your own role in this, friend of Zerith-var. He takes his guidance from you.
This one is sorry for her part in your troubles. Viti's rejection of Zerith's necromancy … Viti was reminded of poor Eifa. An explanation, but no excuse."

You have the option of continuing to talk to her:

So because of what happened with Eifa, you immediately saw Zerith as a threat?
"This one watched her sister fall to necromancy. Viti saw Zerith's pull on the dead as no different than what got Eifa killed.
Krin'ze is like a sister to Viti now. Seeing his influence over her, this one feared a repeat of those dark events."
Tell me more about the Bent Dance.
"The Bent Dance is a rhythm felt in the soul when one has strayed too far from the joy of life by circumstance. Khajiit hear it as part of the duality of our nature.
You have fought your share of dro-m'Athra by now. They are the end result."
Dro-m'Athra are part of the duality of the souls of Khajiit?
"Think of the moons. They have faces that are light, and faces that are shadowed.
Khajiit also have two faces. Most only ever wear their face of light. But with rage or anguish, a rhythm calls us to wear our shadowed face. That is the Bent Dance."
And once Khajiit hear the Bent Dance, they always become a dro-m'Athra?
"Songs of the Twilight Cantors can help those who hear the Bent Dance reject it, if we are quick enough. But a living soul that listens to the Bent Dance for too long falls beyond our reach.
Zerith claims the fallen are not lost to him. We shall see."

Zerith-var agrees to try and has you assist him by dispelling corrupted soul energy. But before he can complete the ritual, he is ambushed by Grand Inquisitor Arsalan who has been tracking the group to slay the heretic Zerith-var. There is no reasoning with him and you are forced to kill him, afterwards Viti will be worried about Eifa's soul:

High Cantor Viti: "No! Did the Grand Inquisitor banish Eifa?"
Zerith-var: "His might was physical, not spiritual. Eifa is near."
<Zerith-var continues his prayer to Azurah.>
Zerith-var: "Mother of Twilight, deliver us this soul lost on the way to your Crossing. Let us return her to you with a heart as new as dawn."
<Eifa's spirit appears floating before the group.>
High Cantor Viti: "Eifa. This one is so sorry she wasn't there. And for what she did. This one lacked the strength to guide your spirit out of darkness. This one failed you."
Eifa: "It seems you have the strength now. Forgive yourself, little sister, as I forgive you."

You can then speak with High Cantor Viti:

"Eifa. It is really her. Radiant. Healed. Forgiven. Zerith-var is … remarkable!
This one apologizes for acting as she did against you. Viti thought all cats that fell to the Bent Dance were lost forever. That is all this one has ever known."
Now you need to share what the Inquisition learned about the Rajaska and their lair.
"Not only will Viti tell you, but Viti will be at your side when you face this threat.
The Inquisitors have not been able to check the spread of Rajaska, but they did discover the location of the den of Ravith's chorus."
Is that where we can find Ravith-morna? Where is it?
"Within a shrine to Namiira deep in the wilds of Northern Elsweyr. A defiled place called Predator Mesa.
Ravith-morna leads her fallen cantors in lamentation. Dark songs of unknown purpose. Can you silence her?"
I need to consult with Zerith and see what he thinks about investigating Predator Mesa.

At this point, Eifa will want to speak with you urgently. If you talk to Viti before Eifa:

"Eifa wants to tell you something, friend of Zerith-var. Talk to her before she departs for Azurah's Crossing."

Speaking with Eifa, she explains the spirits on the paths to the Crossing could hear Ravith-morna's chorus as they sing. And the song is a summoning for a Moon Beast, that will hunt any souls on the path and drag them into the Void. Zerith-var will be ready to head to Predator Mesa, and High Cantor Viti is willing to join you:

"This one stands with her former sahida. Her equal, if not her better for having learned the song of this Moon-Singer Talbira.
Which means Viti will stand at your side as well, friend of Zerith-var. This one's voice is yours."

When you arrive at Predator Mesa, Zerith-var will have the cantors stay at the entrance as you locate the Shrine of Namiira, he means to summon them once it is time to fight Ravith-morna. Exploring the shrine, you find it crawling with Rajaska chorus members and you find Ravith-morna at the deepest section and will fight her Ravenous Sa-m'Athra to disrupt the ritual.

As Ravith-morna prepares to fight you herself, Cantors Viti and Krin'ze will come out of a portal and Krin'ze will sing Moon-Singer Talbira's song. You assist by dispelling Void energy as it appears, but then Ravith-mora reveals a secret that disrupts everything:

Ravith-morna: "Isn't this familiar? Talbira's song. Zerith, ready to strike. Remember what happened next, th'murr?"
<Spectral forms of Zerith-var, Moon-Singer Talbira and Ravith-morna appear, showing what happened at the Star Haven Adeptorium.>
Memory of Ravith-morna: "Our hearts beat as one, Zerith. What will it do to you if you turn your blade upon me?"
Memory of Moon-Singer Talbira: "Zerith, you must strike now!"
Memory of Zerith-var: "I … I am sorry. Besha ahnz'ii."
<The spectral Zerith-var takes out his knife and stabs Moon-Singer Talbira.>
Cantor Krin'ze: "Zerith, no!"
Zerith-var: "Focus, Krin'ze! Do not let your song falter!"
<Ravith-morna disappears and dark energy surrounds Cantor Krin'ze.>
High Cantor Viti: "Too late! She has escaped!"
Cantor Krin'ze: "Tell me it is not true. Tell me you did not turn your blade on Moon-Singer Talbira?"
Zerith-var: "Krin'ze … I could not find the words …."
Cantor Krin'ze: "Her soul is my soul! Her pain, her betrayal—her hatred! It lives in me!"
<Cantor Krin'ze's face and body begins to shift into a dro-m'Athra.>
High Cantor Viti: "Krin'ze, hear my voice. Do not let this darkness bend you!"
<High Cantor Viti touches Krin'ze and cleanses her, before taking her through the portal.>
High Cantor Viti: "Come with Viti, sister. Let her songs calm your spirit. Tamiiti, do not follow us. Wait to hear from us, yes?"

The two cantors leave and it is just you and Zerith-var who now has alot of things to confess.

The Dark Behind the WorldEdit

When Zerith-var reaches Allied rapport, his Moonclaw will draw him to Khenarthi's Rise, an old training ground in Reaper's March. There, you will find Cantor Krin'ze and Moon-Singer Talbira's spirit who asks you to restore Khenarthi's Rise. After this is done, Cantor Krin'ze will speak with Zerith and reveal that his guilt of what he had done is giving Ravith-morna power and that he needs to forgive himself.

Once you have spoken with Zerith about this, he will perform a ritual to locate Ravith-morna which has troubling results and his Moonclaw leads you to the Star Haven Adeptorium. You will find bodies of Inquisitors scattered, and there will be small fires everywhere. When you talk to Cantor Krin'ze she will realise that the Curitata Inquisitors brought the Twilight Cantors here to fight and asks you and Zerith to find survivors.

You encouter with High Cantor Viti leading two fellow cantors up the stairs and away from the Rajaska:

High Cantor Viti: "Come! We can hold them off no longer!"
<She notices you and Zerith-var.>
High Cantor Viti: "You two! Thank the moons! Is Krin'ze here, too?"
<Cantor Kri'ze runs up from behind you.>
Cantor Kri'ze: "I am here, Viti! Thank Azurah you are all right."
Zerith-var: "Ziss! You move like a shadow, ja'rithantii."

At this point you can speak with Viti to find out what has happened:

"Azurah heard my prayers and sent you here, thank the moons!
Twilight Cantors from every corner of Elsweyr are holding off dark spirits as best they can. We can definitely use your help."
Tell us what's happening here.
"I left Krin'ze to heal at Khenarthi's Rise and decided to gather my fellow Twilight Cantors. I planned to bring them there as well, but with the disappearance of the grand inquisitor, the Inquisitors ordered us to aid them."
How did the Inquisitors track down the Rajaska?
"I did not ask. They had a location and a plan of attack. They just needed the Twilight Cantors to assist them.
As ever, the Rajaska were too much for the Inquisitors. Their faith was not strong enough. But without their swords, neither are we."
Where are the other Twilight Cantors?
"Scattered throughout the ruins below.
You remember Eifa's warning, yes? Of the moon beast Ravith-morna is summoning? I hear it growling. It stirs from the call of her chorus. Pray we are not too late to stop its waking."
We'll save the Twilight Cantors and then see if we can deal with this moon beast.

After you have spoken to High Cantor Viti, Cantor Krin'ze will tend to her while you go on ahead. Speaking to Viti before leaving:

"My wounds keep me from going further. I am not as young as I once was.
Spare no more thoughts on my behalf. The people of Elsweyr will be in dire need without my fellow Twilight Cantors. Save them, please."

When you have rescued Cantors Cer'enza, Cantor Nari and Tharis-jo, Zerith's moonclaw will draw him southwards. As you cross the bridge, there will be a noise and the sky will darken, with a blue tear appearing in the sky. Speaking with Zerith, he will explain it is a tear in reality and a shortcut between the Great Darkness and the Crossing.

Cantor Krin'ze will arrive and accompanies you through the portal to the Great Darkness when you search for Ravith-morna and her Moon Beast. When you find and defeat Ravith-morna, Zerith-var will attempt to redeem her soul and is successful. However, the summoned Moon Beast is still active and it takes all your combined efforts to banish it. After some final words between Ravith and Zerith-var, a portal back to Nirn is opened.

The portal will take your group back to Zerith-var's Tomb, this time it will be filled with the surviving Cantors:

High Cantor Viti: "Krin'ze! You are safe!"
<Cantor Krin'ze runs up to High Cantor Viti.>
Cantor Krin'ze: "We did it, Viti! Let me tell you everything."
Zerith-var: "The wound in my soul closes. At last, I know peace."

Speaking with High Cantor Viti:

"Krin'ze is safe. The Twilight Cantors are safe. And you are safe, walker, along with Zerith-var.
For too long I have been prey to my own fears. Now, at last, I can enjoy the twilight hours."
What will you do now?
"I will put aside the title of high cantor. It was a construct of the Torval Curiata, used to control the Twilight Cantors.
I thought at one time that taking on the role would spare my brothers and sisters from the purges of faith. No longer."
