The High Elf Hero (also called the Altmer Hero or Elven Hero) is a mage featured in promotional material for ESO, namely the cinematic trailers. Several figurines were manufactured in her likeness, including a Funko Pop and a detailed statue from Gaming Heads. Her armor is also available as a costume.
She first appears in The Alliances as a member of the Aldmeri Dominion, participating in a siege against an Imperial fort. She battles the Nord and Breton heroes to a standstill before a Dark Anchor falls in The Arrival, and they are forced to work together. The High Elf hero ultimately ends the Daedric incursion by breaking one of the ebon-iron chains with her magic, causing the Dark Anchor to implode and the Imperial fort to collapse in its wake. She is buried under the rubble and recovered by the Nord hero at the end of the trailer.
In The Siege, a wizard affiliated with the Ebonheart Pact makes her the focal point of a ritual in a bid to grant their army access to the Imperial City, which is occupied by Molag Bal's Daedra. She is raised on a platform in chains to be used as a living siege engine and struck by a mighty bolt of lightning, unleashing her magic across the battlefield and pulverizing a section of the city's outer walls. Her chains are broken in the process, and she slaughters her captors before making her way to the White-Gold Tower. There, she finds the undead Breton hero dying from his wounds after his battle with their mutual Nord adversary. She returns a keepsake to him that was torn away during the fight before granting him the mercy of death.
The High Elf hero returns in the cinematic announcement trailer for the Summerset Chapter, wherein she wakes up after washing ashore of the isle and describes a disturbing dream to Razum-dar. The trailer ends with them running off to slay a group of Yaghra.

Edit

- Razum-dar: "Your home needs you now more than ever. Welcome back."

- Razum-dar: "You carry an aura of confusion and despair. Tell this one... What did you see?
- High Elf Hero: "I saw a familiar place covered in strange shadows. Shadows that are in plain view.. Yet hidden… …waiting to pounce on fear. Crawling silently among us… …releasing poisons of deceit and hatred. Shadows that soar and grow in power… …as chaos unfolds and consumes the world."
- Razum-dar: "How did this vision of yours end?"
- High Elf Hero: "I died. All was lost."
- Razum-dar: "The worst nightmares haunt us where we feel safest. At home."
