Tournament of the HeartEdit

After you help Isobel Veloise complete the three trials for the Sapphire Tourney, you can witness Isobel being knighted by the Knight Commander:

Knight Commander Jourvel: "Aspirant Veloise, claiming all three trophies makes you the Champion of the Sapphire Tourney. Come. You have earned a boon from your commander."
<Isobel kneels before Knight Commander Jourvel.>
Knight Commander Jourvel: "From this day forward, you are a Knight of High Isle. Be brave, courteous, loyal and act with honor. Arise, Dame Isobel Veloise!"
Isobel Veloise: "Lord Commander, I know what my boon will be. You may know, as well. Please release Aurelia from the promise you made."
Isobel Veloise: "Allow her to make her own choice to marry, or not, as she sees fit."
Knight Commander Jourvel: "I cannot deny such a selfless boon. Aurelia is free to make her own choices … within reason."
Aurelia Jourvel: "Oh, thank the Eight."
Knight Commander Jourvel: "Dame Isobel, I am deeply impressed. I wish to speak with you and your second. Find me in my office, at your convenience."

Afterwards, you can then head back to the knight's quarters in the castle and meet with Knight Commander Jourvel in her office:

Knight Commander Jourvel: "You did well, Isobel. It seems as though your second was a great boon to you today. Second, step forward. I'd like to speak to you."
Aurelia Jourvel: "She was amazing! I am so proud of you! Dame Isobel, what a nice ring to it!"
Isobel Veloise: "They're far more than a mere second, commander."

Speak with the Knight Commander:

"I've known Isobel … Dame Isobel for many years. It was encouraging to see her push herself like this.
I believe your able assistance may have also played a part?"
I was happy to help.
"Well, I believe a knight should not be measured by the worth of their weapon, but by the allies they keep.
The knights of High Isle pride ourselves on our courtesy. And I personally always wish to honor good people."
I'm not sure I follow?
"For acting as Dame Isobel's second during this year's Sapphire Tourney, I want to formally extend my thanks.
As both knight commander…and as a mother."
You're very welcome.

Talking with her again before speaking with Isobel:

"I'm not sure who is happier with today's events, Aurelia or Isobel.
I think our new knight is anxious to speak to you."

Before you turn in the quest to Isobel:

"I see the look in Isobel's eyes that I have seen in other young, energetic knights. That first bloom of earned confidence.
Time and experience will forge her, I'm sure. She will be a formidable knight."

Once you have completed the quest and gained Isobel as a travelling companion:

Isobel Veloise: "If you'll excuse me, I have to get my things. I want to get ready for adventure!"
Aurelia Jourvel: "I'm sorry mother. But you didn't break your word. And I didn't get stuck having breakfast across from Mortens or Langley. Yech."
Knight Commander Jourvel: "I think things have turned out just the way they should have. Just be ready to see Isobel less often, dear. A page has turned on our little story."

Before you leave the office, you can speak with Knight Commander some more and she will explain some things to you:

"So Isobel will leave High Isle and learn about the wider world. It truly is a brand new day. I'm glad she'll have someone capable like you by her side.
She's like a second daughter to me. Hmph. Not that you heard me say that."
I have to ask. Why did you promise Aurelia's hand in the first place?
"I…I hesitate to say. If I tell you, do you swear on your honor that you will share this with no one? Particularly not Isobel or Aurelia?"
I swear.
"When Aurelia was very young, her father passed away. She barely remembers him, dear man that he was.
I spoke to a druid, an old woman in the woods, and asked for her blessing so that Aurelia would have a good, easy life."
What does that have to do with your promise?
"The witch in the wood made me promise that Aurelia would win favor as a knight, or win a knight's favor, by the time she reached my age.
As you can tell, Aurelia is hardly knightly material. And that deadline is quickly approaching."
You promised her hand so that you would hold true to your bargain?
"I did. And thank the Divines, she won the favor of a knight. I saw the witch at Isobel's knight ceremony, and she gave me a sly wink. Our bargain is met. And my daughter is safe.
Thanks to you, second. And Dame Veloise."
Thank you for speaking to me, Knight Commander.
I can't do that. Thanks anyways. (Ends conversation)

A Mother's RequestEdit

Soon after helping Isobel recover her family's stolen signet ring, she will get a letter from the Knight Commander which asks Isobel to meet with her at Castle Navire. Jourvel can be found in her office:

Knight Commander Jourvel: "Welcome home, Dame Veloise. Thank you for coming. I need you to deal with a bit of a situation."

Speak with the Knight Commander to see what is going on:

"Good of you and Isobel to come. Let me be brief.
Rather than being sobered by her misadventure on Stros M'Kai, Aurelia has set off on some kind of quest. I'm concerned for her safety."
What's happened? Where is she?
"If I knew where my daughter was, I would not have written to Isobel. Aurelia left a note saying she's gone adventuring to fix a problem she created, and not to worry.
As if telling me not to worry will make everything fine."
You'd like us to find her?
"Yes. I immediately thought of Isobel, of course. As a knight on errantry, she is free to do as she wishes. This is not an order.
It's a heartfelt request from a mother concerned for her daughter."
Understood. Any other leads on where we might find Aurelia?
"It may be unrelated, but my aide Nilsmon has not been seen in days. He is quite fond of Aurelia, and may know more than I do.
You have my permission to search his bunk, over in the barracks. Down the hall on the left."
That's where we'll start.

Afterwards:

Isobel Veloise: "I'll do my best to find Aurelia. I'm sure she's safe."
Knight Commander Jourvel: "I hope that's true, Isobel. But we both know Aurelia. Once she's set a course, there's no changing it. Good luck."

You have the option of asking the Knight Commander more questions:

"Thank you for looking into this. Aurelia is free to do as she wishes, of course.
But my daughter is not a knight, and Tamriel is dangerous. I want to see her home safe."
Is there anything more you can tell us?
"We had a long conversation about her misadventure on Stros M'Kai. About what that signet ring means to Isobel's family, how much damage that conman might have done.
She seemed quite … sobered by the discussion."
But then she left?
"Yes. I'd hoped her brush with misfortune would convince her to buckle down, figure out what she wants out of life.
Running off at the drop of a hat is hardly the response I expected."
Thank you.

You later find and rescue Aurelia in Rivenspire, she had been tracking down where Kiv Lindres had been using the signet ring and was attacked while tracking down the person Kiv did business with. Aurelia decides to stay in Rivenspire to continue to investigate.

The Princess DetectiveEdit

Once you have reached "Allied" Rapport with Isobel, she will have received another letter from Knight Commander Jourvel. This time she wants to meet with you at the Ancient Anchor Inn in Gonfalon Bay.

Knight Commander Jourvel can be found on one of the upper floors of the Ancient Anchor, she will be reading a book when you arrive:

Knight Commander Jourvel: "Fair day! Just the people I was hoping to see."
Isobel Veloise: "Good to see you, Commander."

You can then speak with her to see what is going on:

"Thank you for coming to speak with me, both of you. I've been in regular correspondence with Aurelia since your last adventure.
Unfortunately her letters have stopped, and I'm worried."
What have you been discussing?
"She's been keeping me abreast of her investigation. The princess detective, I've taken to calling her.
Aurelia still believes she can retrieve the money stolen from Isobel's family. She feels quite guilty about it."
How has the investigation gone?
"Apparently quite well, Aurelia's last message was all smiles. It's on the table, there. Please, take it with you. She and Marso would visit soon, she said, back home to give Isobel the good news.
Will you return to Rivenspire? See how she's doing?"
I'll speak to Isobel about it.
"Thank you. And, if I may … I also need to thank you for a more personal matter. My relationship with my daughter has gotten better … significantly better, as a result of her time spent with you.
I hope you find her safe. Good luck, traveler."
And to you.

Speaking with her again before reading Aurelia's letter:

"Aurelia's last letter is just there. Read it and you'll see what I mean. She's changed, and for the better.
I just hope she's all right."

Aurelia's Letter will reveal that she was in Fell's Run and was close to finding the people behind the criminal group that has the Veloise Mercantile's missing gold.

"When Aurelia wrote to say she was conducting some kind of investigation, I was shocked.
But every letter since has shown me a woman changing for the better. I desperately hope she's safe."

After speaking with Isobel:

"Good luck to you both. My little detective may be brave … but what if she's taken on too much too fast?"

While in Rivenspire, you help rescue Captain Marso and defeat the person behind the previous attacks. Also Aurelia and Captain Marso reveal themselves to be very much in love, they ask you and Isobel to meet them at the Ancient Anchor Inn. When you arrive, you can hear the following conversation:

Captain Marso: "Aurelia! Isobel is here! I'm so glad you came."
<Aurelia comes out from a nearby room to stand beside Marso.>
Aurelia Jourvel: "Indeed I am! It will be a welcome break from mother lecturing me."
Knight Commander Jourvel: "Aurelia, I am just a room away. Stow your sass."

Knight Commander Jourvel will be in her lodgings nearby:

"I'm so glad you came. Aurelia has been talking about your heroism nonstop."

After speaking with Aurelia:

"I was a bit surprised, when they asked for my blessing. But … Aurelia has grown so much. And we've had such lovely conversations in our letters.
I just made them promise to visit the castle as often as they can."

If you exit out of conversation with Isobel and before turning in the quest, the knight commander will say:

"I'm so proud of Isobel. Watching her grow up, I knew she'd be something special one day.
But to think she's achieved so much, with you at her side. Tremendous."

Talking to her after the quest is completed:

"When Isobel pledged to travel at your side I was … concerned. But you have more than proven yourself.
And I can see it in her eyes, travel has done wonders for her. So … thank you, traveler. You've done a great service. To both of my daughters."

A Chance for PeaceEdit

The Knight Commander will be one of the people attending the ceremony at the Gonfalon Palace, if you completed the Tourney of the Heart prior:

"The alliance leaders live up to their reputations, good and bad.
I can't say I ever expected to share a room with them. But then, I suppose I have you to thank for that."
How goes the Tourney, Commander?
"Exceedingly well. With the trials out of the way, the jousting and revelry has been some of the best we've ever seen.
I rarely get a chance to enjoy much of it, but Aurelia has encouraged me to live a little."
Do you miss Isobel being at the Castle?
"I do. But it warms my heart to know she's getting a chance to see the world as your companion. I've known her for almost her whole life, you know.
The smile she wore the day she won the tourney was a rare treat."
Enjoy the party.

Speaking with her again after the quest is completed:

"I can't say I terribly enjoy parties, too many opportunities for decisions one might regret later.
But I suppose if anything is worth celebrating, it is your actions here on High Isle."
How goes the Tourney, Commander? (Dialogue is the same as above)
