Pariel is a Wood Elf member of the Falinesti Faithful, and the wife of Thonoras. After being captured by the Lhurgash Clan, she tapped into her bestial nature with Hircine's aid, transforming her into a creature of the Wild Hunt. Although she saved herself and her friends, she shapeshifted outside collective ritual of the Wild Hunt, making her an Oathbreaker for violating the Green Pact. Thus she must be slain.

Once subdued, she runs off towards the entrance of the cave then collapses, near death. You then have a choice to either have Thonoras kill her or join her instead.
