- "Where's the rest of the Pact army? Are they hunting that giant?"
- "I was buried in rubble when Sinmur stomped through. I would've died if someone hadn't pulled me out."
- "I should just steal a horse and ride away. The worst they could do is kill me."
- "We lost everything. May as well go build a shack in the woods now."
