"And this goes ... here. And then of course this goes over here. And if I just put this here ...."
The Halls of Regulation have begun to break down, threatening the water supply throughout Clockwork City. I've agreed to help Tilelle the Mender make repairs by protecting her as we gather parts and fix machinery.

Quick WalkthroughEdit

  1. Talk to Tilelle outside the facility.
  2. Collect the parts needed for repairing the machinery.
  3. Defeat The Steadfast Regulator.
  4. Talk to Tilelle when she has finished the repairs.

Detailed WalkthroughEdit

Outside The Halls of Regulation you'll find Tilelle the Mender fretting about the failing water processing functions of the Halls. She seems nervous when you speak to her, wanting to be sure you're not one of the Apostles, for some reason. She needs your help to protect her while she makes repairs to the facility.

Inside, she is looking for a ventilation gear (a mundane item) and a cleansing crystal (an arcane item). The gear is to the north end of the facility, behind some pipes in one of the round rooms. Take it and head to the humidity chamber north and west of you. Once inside the chamber, stand guard while Tilelle does the repairs; don't get in her way.

From here, head to the south end of the facility, to the large room (shaped like a Greek cross, pattée). At the north end of that cross-shaped room, the crystal can be found in the small hallway. Head up the ramp to the southwest (see bug report below) to find the purification chamber. Again, stand back while Tilelle completes the step of repairing the machinery.

Now you'll need to head back down to the ground level to find the geodic dynamo, in a room guarded by the delve boss. Pick up the item from a chest in the center of the regulation chamber and again Tilelle will take over, accomplishing the repairs. Talk to her to complete the quest. Talking more with her will reveal that she had no official cause to be here; she took it on her own initiative to fix this broken facility.

BugsEdit

  • When you find the cleansing crystal, the map guidance disappears for the next step of the quest ?
    • Workaround: Head up the ramps to the upper level and you'll find the door to the purification chamber, which will have the quest objective icon on the door to the chamber.
    • This bug was reported 20Feb24, and confirmed still broken 3Apr24.

* Any text displayed in angle brackets (e.g., <Alias=LocationHold>) is dynamically set by the game and will be filled in with the appropriate word(s) when seen in game.
  • Not all Journal Entries may appear in your journal; which entries appear and which entries do not depends on the manner in which the quest is done.
  • Stages are not always in order of progress. This is usually the case with quests that have multiple possible outcomes or quests where certain tasks may be done in any order. Some stages may therefore repeat objectives seen in other stages.
