Find the last of the Monclair Vampires in Northpoint
I ran into Blademaster Qariar in Northpoint's back alleys. He's hunting down the remaining vampires that were working with Lady Lleraya Montclair.

Quick WalkthroughEdit

  1. Speak to Blademaster Qariar in Northpoint.
  2. Search and clear the houses.
  3. Return to Qariar.

Detailed WalkthroughEdit

Begin by seeking out Blademaster Qariar in front of Derre's House after liberating Northpoint. As you approach you will see a captured Montclair Immortal standing on the steps and hear Qariar tell a Northpoint Defender, "Kill the creature. It deserves nothing but our blades." Then the defender will kill the vampire. Speak to Qariar and offer to help him track down the last few vampires hiding in Northpoint.

You must then check 3 houses in town and destroy any vampires you find hiding there. Quest markers will appear to indicate the houses you must clear. Check Jerick's House to find Maretta the Blood Maid. She will not have anything to say but will simply attack when you get close enough.

In the Urbyn House, you will find two Montclair Knights. From upstairs, you will hear someone shout out, "They've found us! Defend yourselves!" Dispatch the vampires on this floor. Then head upstairs where you will also need to defeat Louic the Red. As you approach, he will attack and threaten, "You killed our beautiful Lady Lleraya! I'm going to rip out your throat and make you pay for that!"

Finally, in Serielle's House, you will overhear two named vampires.

Ina of the Fangs: "Now look what you did! Your constant blabbering led them right to us!"
Knight Richion: "How is this my fault? And who died and left you in charge?"
Ina of the Fangs: "Lleraya, you fool! Now less complaining and more killing! We'll deal with your attitude later."

When you have dispatched all the vampires, locate Qariar in the cemetery in the southern end of the city. As you approach you will see two Northpoint Defenders burning piles of bodies. Speak with Qariar to receive his thanks and your reward. Talk to him again, and he will tell you, "I wouldn't mind having someone like you on my staff. You fight like a Daedra and have the courage of a dozen guards. If you ever want a real job, come back and see me."

NotesEdit

  • Though the houses they use as hideouts are accessible after the liberation of Northpoint before starting the quest, the Montclair vampires won't exist inside then.

Quest StagesEdit

The Last of Them
Finishes Quest Journal Entry
I agreed to deal with Lleraya's remaining vampires for Blademaster Qariar. He's given me the locations where he thinks they're hiding. I need to go to each location and take out each vampire.
Objective: Hunt Down Lleraya's Remaining Forces
Hidden Objective: Search House
I cleared the last of the vampires from the three houses they were hiding in. Now I should return to Blademaster Qariar and let him know that Northpoint is relatively safe now.

Notes
* Any text displayed in angle brackets (e.g., <Alias=LocationHold>) is dynamically set by the game and will be filled in with the appropriate word(s) when seen in game.
  • Not all Journal Entries may appear in your journal; which entries appear and which entries do not depends on the manner in which the quest is done.
  • Stages are not always in order of progress. This is usually the case with quests that have multiple possible outcomes or quests where certain tasks may be done in any order. Some stages may therefore repeat objectives seen in other stages.
