A Goat

Goats are non-aggressive animals generally found on mountain slopes, though they can become hostile and attack while under the influence of a spriggan. They are hunted for their hides, meat, and goat horns^HF, but occasionally drop nothing. In addition to those found in the wild, domestic goats are found around farms and towns. Attacking someone's livestock will earn you a bounty.

HearthfireEdit

The Hearthfire add-on lets you build a goat statue on a small base in the trophy room addition of any homestead. The materials needed are:

NotesEdit

• With the addition of the Hearthfire add-on, goats can drop horns for house improvements. However, the horns that they drop are completely different in size, shape and color from what is on the goats themselves.
• The hides goats drop are the only instance in the game where two hides are needed to produce one leather.

BugsEdit

• Goats that spawn near Markarth may inexplicably hostile to you, even though there are no spriggans around. Goats that spawn this way might attack or flee. ^?
