Skyrim - The Adventure Game uses many icons throughout the game in order to help keep cards concise and instructions clear. This glossary lists the most common icons, and their meaning.

Name Icon Description
Health   The player's health.
Stamina   The player's stamina.
Magicka   The player's magicka.
Combat Push   Many actions can be pushed by paying a resource to roll an extra die.
Die   Roll a Skill Test die.
Gain 1 Die   Roll an additional die.
Skill Test   Roll 3 Skill Test dice.
Threat   Many cards will refer to Threat. Whenever the icon appears, you must place a Threat token on any card that accepts them.
Heavy Armor Point   Armor points that defend against Heavy Attacks.
Light Armor Point   Armor points that defend against Light Attacks.
Magic Armor Point   Armor points that defend against Magic Attacks.
Final Blow   When you receive damage that would reduce your health to your Final Blow or lower, the damage stops at your Final Blow token to give you one last chance to fight back or escape.
Heavy Attack   Attack type that is strong against Light and Magic Armor.
Light Attack   Attack type that is strong against Heavy and Magic Armor.
Magic Attack   Attack type that is strong against Heavy and Light Armor.
Ore Component   Most commonly used for Upgrades.
Plant Component   Most commonly used for Potions.
Soul Gem Component   Most commonly used for Enchanting.
Any Component   Choose any component.
Septim   The currency of Skyrim.
Experience   Earned during your adventures and used to level up your character.
Animal Enemy   Hostile animals.
Human Enemy   Hostile people.
Undead Enemy   Hostile undead.
Daedra Enemy   Hostile daedra.
Automaton Enemy   Hostile automatons.
Dragon Enemy   Hostile dragons.
Trap   Traps that you may find in dungeons.
Circle   The most common symbol on the Skill Test dice (50% probability).
Triangle   The second most common symbol on the Skill Test dice (33% probability).
Diamond   The least common symbol on the Skill Test dice (16.5% probability).
Might   Skills and items focusing on combat. The Might Market deck includes Shields, Heavy Armors, and One Handed and Two Handed weapons, mainly.
Shadow   Skills and items focusing on stealth and deception. The Shadow Market deck includes Daggers, Light Armors, and Bows, mainly.
Sorcery   Skills and items focusing on magic. The Sorcery Market deck includes Spells, Potions, and Robes, mainly.
Wilderness   Wilderness spaces and Narrative Exploration cards.
Town   Town spaces and Narrative Exploration cards.
Follower   Characters that will assist you in battle.
One Handed   Weapons such as swords, staves, and daggers.
Two Handed   Weapons such as greatswords, battleaxes, and warhammers.
Spell   Spell, occupies one hand.
Shield   Shield, occupies one hand.
Bow   Bow, occupies two hands.
Heavy Armor   Armor pieces that provide Heavy Armor protection.
Light Armor   Armor pieces that provide Light Armor protection.
Robes   Armor pieces that provide Magic Armor protection, and can often be enchanted multiple times.
Helmet   Specialised armor that may provide positives and negatives when equipped.
Boots   Specialised armor that may provide positives and negatives when equipped.
Trinket   Specialised equipment, such as jewellery and tools. Only 4 Trinkets and Potions can be held overall.
Potion   Items that typically restore attributes. Only 4 Potions and Trinkets can be held overall.
Backpack   Up to 4 unequipped items can be held in your backpack.
Legendary Skill   A skill that has been improved for 15 Experience. Some enemies may have attacks that are only used when you have a Legendary Skill.
Draw   Draw a card, following the instructions given.
Draw 2   Draw an additional card and select one.
Discard   Remove from the game.
Discard Blades   Remove a card from the Blades deck from the game.
Any Treasure   Any piece of treasure. Also used on Puzzle cards.
Craftable Treasure   Simple equipment that can be crafted at Strongholds.
Basic Treasure   Common equipment found during your adventures.
Advanced Treasure   Rarer equipment found during your adventures.
Dragon Treasure   Extremely rare equipment made from Dragon remains.
Quest Marker   Placed on the board to show you where to continue your quest.
Go To   The location you need to be for the specified action.

Horse   The horse token, which allows you to move 1 additional space.
Cave   A type of Dungeon with various enemies, traps, and treasures.
Mine   A type of Dungeon with various enemies, traps, and treasures.
Tomb   A type of Dungeon with various enemies, traps, and treasures.
Ruin   A type of Dungeon with various enemies, traps, and treasures.
Dwemer City   A type of Dungeon with various enemies, traps, and treasures.
Daedra Token   Roaming Daedra tokens.
Dragon Token   Roaming Dragon tokens.
Dunmer Token   Roaming Dunmer Cultist tokens.
Thalmor Token   Roaming Thalmor Justiciar tokens.
Troll Token   Roaming Troll tokens.
Vampire Token   Roaming Vampire tokens.
Vampire Token (Dawnguard)   Roaming Vampire tokens, from Dawnguard.
Chosen Token   Roaming Boethiah's Chosen tokens.
Imperial Legion   Used for tracking during certain Campaigns.
Stormcloak   Used for tracking during certain Campaigns.
Move Militia   Indicates that Ulfric's Militia is on the move.
Day   The time of day, introduced in the Dawnguard Expansion.
Night   The time of day, introduced in the Dawnguard Expansion.
Flip   Flip the Day/Night token.
Dawnguard Fortress   Introduced in the Dawnguard Expansion.
Vampire Fortress   Introduced in the Dawnguard Expansion.
Dawnguard   Used for tracking during certain Campaigns in the Dawnguard Expansion.
Vampire   Used for tracking during certain Campaigns in the Dawnguard Expansion.
Vigilant to Vampire   Instructions to move points during certain Campaigns in the Dawnguard Expansion.
Vampire to Vigilant   Instructions to move points during certain Campaigns in the Dawnguard Expansion.
