Adric Jerenise is a Breton Mage and a Wizard in the Mages Guild. His arrival is something that Ethalvora, the leader of the Andothren Guild of Mages, treats with extreme suspicion. She will ask you to arrange an accident for him as he crosses the Armun Ashlands, fearing that he will seek to replace her should he arrive. Adric, for his part, insists he is here for research purposes only, having hoped to "get away from the stuffy attitudes of western academics".
With that said, in the event that Ethalvora is expelled from the Mages Guild, Adric does indeed appear to take her place.
